Its so good to see another Aussie couple thrifting like this! My Wife and I actually JUST started a few weeks ago with things from around our house and a few things from thrift stores. In Canberra though, the prices in thrift stores are EXTREMELY high and we only have one or two markets that are quite small. Would love to be able to connect sometime and chat! :)
Oh that’s awesome always cool to hear other people getting in to it, yea it’s definitely tough to find those deals on that situation. Best place to catch us for a chat is instagram 2Aussiethrifters as we pop in and out of there most days
I tend to steer clear of white coloured clothing these days, for stain removal reasons, unless of course the item is worth a fair bit, then it's worth an attempt 😁
Nice work on helping & gaining goodies. Love that you are in the place now that you are helping your selves & others. Variety is certainly going your way help keep the fun in what you’re doing. 😁💜
Beating the thrift is key. Knowledge is power. Most thrifts have tons of valuable items that they arent aware of. But yeah, diversity is key. Cant rely solely on thrifts.
Hi guys I have a question for you if you could help me I listed the satchel weight and size on my eBay listing in the postage section but when I import it into auspost business I always have to type in the weight and size manually could you please help because this wastes a lot of time
@@stanley7987 there are a few where you can preset sizes but this is usually one set size, I think the only way that the eBay sizes are relevant is for eBay postage
Would you do this to make $400?
Depends how long it took you. I like to work on a $100 an hour average to make it worthwhile
@@Flippidy_Dippidyprobably all up to was 3 hours once we did the driving etc so pretty close to that.
Some op shops are getting to the point where it's almost not even worth buying for personal use let alone reselling.
Yea it’s definitely tougher out there but I guess the cost of living / running a business increase all contribute to that.

Yes that’s a fair call on the white can be painful. We generally don’t pick up dirty items but part and parcel of a clear out.
Good to have another different source for merchandise x
Yes absolutely always trying to add more options to the list.

Yea was cool to see what that side of the fence looks like and see how we can contribute.
Just here to add bows to my string 😂
lol 😂 “Jenny I’m not a smart man” 😅
I think I would suffer too much from empathy at estate sales.
These types of jobs certainly put things in perspective. It’s very humbling to help pack up somebody’s life.
@@JazSearle that's how I would frame it too
Yes it’s definitely a different experience doing an estate clearance. Definitely go in with the mindset of wanting to help.
Skylanders is my niche, you really scored well with those 2 starter packs
Yea was super suprised to see comps on them, sold 1 already
Geezz your looking distinguished with them greys showing in that beard, jazzy your looking great as always keep you the excellent work
@@stevecowell1152 hahah cheers mate I’ll take it 😅

Oh for sure things slip through the knowledge cracks all the time at thrift stores but it is nice to have other options
Love those diversified sourcing streams ;)
Thanks legend appreciate your help with this too 🙏
Look at that magnificent beard!
Maybe Jaz will shave it off when your asleep so I can wear it....
Haha that must be why it disappeared overnight it all makes sense now 😂
Oh you were down my end of town ❤ I still like my savers better lol 😂
@@thrifting_mumma yea was good to check it out again. Been a while since we where down that way.
👌🏼
@@OnePercentBetter 🙏🙏 appreciate you legend
I just despise how savers (and now others) hang their pants - it stretches them out of shape.
The worst! Only good thing about it is seeing the brands so easily… 2/10
Bigfoots not a monster 😂😉
Haha well I felt like it best represented my hairy face 2 days ago lol 😜
$7.50 for the cycling vest is good value
Yea that was a nice find glad we found something there lol 😂

Hey Stanley, as far as I know this info doesn’t export to my post business (although I’ve never tried this)
@@2AussieThrifters oh ok thankyou for the quick response , do you recommend another shipping service that is easier ?

that is the standard for that store... should have hit amanda and I up for some other stores...
@@bygonethrifter haha yea definitely will next time we are down it was a bit of a last minute decision this time round to go.
You’re the best
Appreciate the support mate
