Tokyo Marui guns are imports, their is always going to be something that can be done to them to being the power up to other country limits. Even if they made the entire gun out of real steel parts with every mosfet feature under the sun. It would still need a power spring. It certainly needs a lot less though than other models the mosfet is a great new feature and the construction quality is amazing.

Yup, there would be no benefit unless a company like gate did a bespoke product and even then it would only add features that come with those types of products. If Marui did this kind of gun going forward it could put a dent in gate electronics bottom line.
@@PatrickButler-jm3qj the mosfet would error and refuse to work. In theory it wouldn’t cause any damage but it’s an expensive experiment. The mosfet is about 300 to replace it
@@PatrickButler-jm3qj and separately you have standard issues with running recoils at 11.1v speeds, timing issues can happen resulting in pistons being striped.
I’ve used Japan made 6mm bearings for years, they are fine. And if you doubt they have any gains then they might as well not do bearings at all, if we argued the toss about all marginal gains we wouldn’t ever install anything shiny in our aegs. Both are valid options to me since I have no evidence to say other wise.
@@Eagle6Airsoft It depends afaik only J caged bearings are good but on 6mm size they aren’t recommended(too small), especially with low rof there is no point to use them. A set of good steel heat threated bushings is a better solution. For Japan made do you mean Prometheus?

That's quite some upgrades for a "perfect" gun. I don't doubt it is perfect now, but then it couldn't be before...

Obviously it’s only 0.1mm of reaming the hole to allow 6mm to fit.

I really doubt the 6mm bearings will last long and I don't see any valid reason to use theam instead for bushings. 😐
