Nice Work. I am following in your steps and tribulations. QUESTION: How have you guys held up under the rain. My place is near yours but I am currently 1900 miles away. Haven’t been able to get full reports.
No, the water doesn’t rise up to the surface, it percolates down through the ground. It’s great for the local wildlife to have nice, healthy wildflowers growing.
This is fantastic! And way to go on the planning for the video, getting all these clips over so much time is great forthought.
Honey bees would love those flowers.
Yup! I see them buzzing around from flower to flower!

It’s going to be beautiful ❤
It already is! Can't wait to see what colors the perennial wildflowers will bring.
Was great seeing this end to end
You both have been on my mind with the rain. Glad to hear the property is in good shape!
Yup, all good here so far!
Love the butterflies! Looks great, and an amazing example of turning a necessity into an asset.
I also now get fresh cut flowers from that which brings me so much joy!
I am so glad the heavy rain did not impact your property. The septic system looks great, and the wildflowers are a beautiful solution.
small tip if you sow wild seed mix it with some yellow sand then you can see exactly what you have sown
I didn't have that on hand when I did it the first time, but yes, that's a great tip!
Looking amazing. Watching you cats through this whole project has been fantastic!👍🏻

You should keep that leach field cut down to aid in the evaporation of the water?
