Nah Thisisdabiggestballsofdasummer Idk what apple was thinking of when they did the 14 trailer, but YBBK’s editing sure is clean, and has good music choice lol
Yeah I also noticed alexotos mention that as well however it all comes down to preference! I removed the weight in the second test to give an idea of what that sounds like and put it back in for the remainder as I preferred it with the weight.
try a tape mod across the whole pcb instead of just the flex cuts also adding grooves for the gaskets would mean they would be more inset to the top or bottom case, meaning they wouldn't be doing much of anything unless they are much thicker
Hey, I was trying to mod my rk61 stabs and one of them popped out, any idea how to re-install it? It’s the solder version and I can’t desolder or solder.
"entry", $20 is the entry cost to the mechanical keyboard scene right now - With prebuilts of all things. $60 is usually the entry cost to the custom scene - for a case you can throw together with acrylic panels yourself w/ a included pcb. That gets even cheaper if you just wire everything manually without a PCB if you are provided a plate.
Using the words “budget” and “entry” are always quiet controversial in this hobby. Although you make a good point, I tend to associate “entry” with affordable“enthusiast” boards and “budget” with affordable “beginner” boards. Considering “enthusiast” boards range from ~$200 all the way up to ~$600, I’d say the Zoom TKL is entry. A great analogy someone commented before is comparing it to a piano. An new, entry piano costs around ~$3000. While $3000 is a lot of money in general, put into context that other pianos can cost up to 100k+, it’s considered entry.
those opening shots were so classy omg, truly the goat of intros
ty! ❤️
I’m getting apple commercial vibes from the intro 😂 I’m loving it! Amazing video quality and transitions too 😮

great video as always! Although gotta point out there isn't any 7u support for this current pcb until R2 next year
Right, sorry about that haha. I saw the multiple sockets near the space bar section and assumed it had 7u support.
When did they announce an r2?
i like it with all the foams

When you do the rebuild/mods can you try removing the steel weight and putting a small piece of killmat in there instead?
Will consider!
Can't wait to see the comparison between this and QK75. When will QK75 video be coming?
