Hey Greg I just wanted to let you know that I found your channel back in November. In February I bought my first tournament kayak because you motivated me to go out and do it! Now, I'm locking into tournaments for the rest of the season! Thank you Greg for motivating me to get out there off the bank and onto a fishing kayak ive already trippled my catches from all of 2020 and its not even topwater season in NY yet. The water is still less than 70 degrees. So thank you! Without your motivation, I wouldn't be having as good of a spring as I have! Much love, and I love the content my friend!
I've come to using the term/approach of "Blancharding" while out fishing now. It's the act of not paying attention, or doing something while your line is out to catch fish. It's a highly effective tactic for sure! My gf thinks I'm hilarious 😂
Greg, you really lucked out with the conditions that’s for sure! Yes it gets glassy and calm but most of the time the wind picks up by the afternoon. Nice job once again!
Greg, thank you for filming your two days on Clear Lake. To have a day where top water fishing is the go-to bait most of the day, awesome. Those folks on the bass boat might have been upset you were catching all the fish in the area and they had blank stares on their faces. Thanks again, until next time.
My parents were so happy to find a nice home some years ago when they retired in Lakeport, CA. The selling factor of the little town was off their back yard was Clear Lake. My dad was finally able to put his boat in his backyard.
Hay Greg. Try a piece of 20-25lb clear mono or fluro of about 10-15 inches to you lure from braid it will help with the braid not fouling up on the hooks. Might give you a few more bites as well. Keep well mate all the way from Australia.
The boys and I are planning a trip up there this summer. We're about a two hour drive away and never fished there. Really excited to see what we can do. Thanks for the videos.
Suggestion, we do this down here on the coast. Try throwing your topwater on about a 7'4 medium action spinning setup. 2500 series reel and 17lb braid. Mono leader for some stretch. You'll be able to bomb those topwaters a mile.
Wow! What a morning. I was going to give you a bad time about not letting your top water rest from time to time to get more strikes but uhhh, never mind, you caught more fish in a couple of hours ripping that thing through the water than I ever have, and I live within 30 minutes of the lake and have fished Clear Lake my whole life. I tip my hat to you sir.
Always experiment for the future tournaments, things change day to day. Great statement, makes you feel like a kid again. I feel like that every time I'm on the California delta.
Man I gotta know where you lunches your kayak at!😩 love fishing that lake. Going this Saturday. Want to see if I can land more than 3 in one day lol. This spot looks juicy! I just have no clue where it’s at???
This was definitely one of the top best videos you’ve done, and you have a BUNCH of great ones. This one seemed different, you were more at ease and laid back. Too often we are like a dog chasing the butterfly to really enjoy the moment, didn’t happen here, you had fun. Your quote about losing that excitement as you get older is spot on, honestly although I’ve felt that way I hadn’t formed it into a thought until you said it. More motivation for me to stop working so much and try to get out there in my 2 year old new kayak. One day. Thank you for sharing these trips with me.
I appreciate you showing the bait sticking to the net. There are so many minor inconveniences in kayak fishing and sometimes I wonder if it's just me lol
This was the first lake i was introduced to when i lived in cali. Been hooked on bass fishing ever since. I NEED to come back and fish this one more time but its so expensive :(
Hi not trying to be in your business but out of curiosity, why is it so expensive? Do they charge to fish the lake? Or did you end up moving away? Sorry for invading your space for a minute lol
Nice my grandpa lives next to reds skyroon and when we visit we eat there and not down e I moved here I love bass fishing made some friends with bass boats and kayaks and get to go out on the weekend and fish
I live here I kayak fish clear lake almost daily. Sadly the chanel behind the house is almost dry. Caught 90 bass this year so far. Nothing too big though. Some crappie also are my bass swimbait big crappie out there.
Hey Greg, I've seen polarized go pro lenses on Amazon. Maybe give on a try so us viewers can see into the water when you're pointing fish out. Thanks for the vids!
The one and only time that I was at clear lake was a KB F tournament a couple years ago. I didn't catch any of the fish I expected or the size. But I blame most of that on the fact that there was a huge algae Bloom with algae about a 1/2 an inch thick on the surface of the water.
Hey Greg, just wanted to thank you for all the fishing tips and especially punching. I got my PB on 6/6 near Walnut Grove, trying things you do in your videos. Just a hair under 8lbs. I've always shied away from punching. No more. If I figure out how to load a pic, I will. thanks again. PS, lol, I made the cardinal mistake and lost my next fish because I didn't re-tie.
Greg those were two insane day's of fishing. Catching that many beautiful, healthy, active bass. The footage was awsome, above and below water. Especially those airborne strikes, we all love on a topwater bait. A well deserved, two day relaxing trip, with great weather for you bro.🙏 😎 🎣
I don’t have a back camera mount on my kayak yet. But when I do. I’m sure I’ll hit the GB quick head snap back when something crazy happens too. Almost like someone is actually there witnessing it with you 😂 I already snap down to my camera with my hands in the air 🤣
Ahhh.. Clear Lake. That’s an epic two days! Clear Lake has kicked my ass at times but some days it’s crazy good. Nothing like topwater days, wherever you are. Let Sierra know that I switched to them because of you. I’d post photo proof if RUclips let me. Carry on and fish!
That dang water is clearer than my bath water that’s absolutely insane for lake water to be that clear to me since I’ve only seen sam Rayburn Toledo bend and lake fork in my fishing adventures lol
"Fishing makes you feel like a kid again." You've got that right!
It’s such a healthy passion

When I go fishing with my dad like a kid I am so excited I can't sleep.. I don't think that feeling will ever go away. Nor do I want it to.
Thank you! No politics, no b.s. Thank you for showing the natural beauty and awesome fisheries of California.
Dude I could literally watch this highlight reel for hours! Thanks as always for taking us along for the ride GB!
Makes all those in-n-out days worth it!

That’s a good time right there. No Clearlake wind, fish are on fire, and that’s my favorite area of the lake by far. Good times.
What a great morning when you and TacticalBassin both drop a video within minutes of each other.
This is the only fishing channel I can watch a 30 minute video on and not even notice the time go by. Love your vids Greg!
Especially getting paid to watch it at work
@@tims_always_fishing7117 lucky haha!!
5:45.....beautiful morning on the lake......."this feeling doesn't get old"........SO TRUE!
Oh my gosh! I can't wait to be posting videos like yours when we are up and running at our lake house in Kelseyville. Incredible!
Very well could be the best public Bass fishing in the USA. Thanks Greg !
Greg, you really lucked out with the conditions that’s for sure!
Yes it gets glassy and calm but most of the time the wind picks up by the afternoon.
Nice job once again!
I just gotta say, when its not tournament days, you have a blast fishing and not only that you laugh more. Awesome video.

Doesn’t get any better than a cup of coffee and a Greg Blanchard video to get the morning started! Lol

“First cast first bass” thats my personal motto period and out here on the delta. I see you G
My god. Literally the best bass fishing video ever. So much action. Fish were just EVERYWHERE. Another awesome job Greg. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Definitely one of my best topwater days out there!
Man what a day of fishing, 1 after another. Love those kind of days with that popper.
Wow, what a day on the water. The views of the mountains were sweet.

2 Epic days! love the underwater footage! " just like BASS Pro Shops Tank" Loved it!
I was whooping and hollering out loud in my car, watching while waiting for my kid to be done with practice. Fun trip! Thx for bringing us along!

You have bottled the "little kid fishing excitement" again and again for us, but this one was some triple IPA strength for me, Greg. Cheers!
Nothing better than a top water bite
Always experiment for the future tournaments, things change day to day. Great statement, makes you feel like a kid again. I feel like that every time I'm on the California delta.

Love it at 16:38, that’s a nice strike!! Great video Greg!!
Great topwater action! Dream of a day where that happens to me over here at Puddingstone lake. Good job brotha
Awesome footage on a spectacular lake!
Man what a fun bite. Not too many days you can throw a top water all day and get lit up like that. Nice job!
You killed it!! Great content as always!! I need a 3x shirt LOL!!! Hence Big Mac
Greg why is the bottom of your yak always full of water? Scupper plugs....?
I know you don't fish the Super Fluke much but it would cool to see if you can crush them on it at Clear Lake.
Love me some clear lake content. I definitely need to get back out there.
I caught a 7lbs bass at Clearlake last month
Awesome session and outstanding underwater footage 👍
Top water is such an awesome bite.
Another amazing Clear Lake video. Love topwater action. Keep it up!!
Probably my favorite fishing video!
Wow, everyone of those was my PB. Never caught more than 5 in one day. Boy I love fishing crappy lakes in NE.
nice and amazing fishing spot , thanks from France for this video !
The one and only time that I was at clear lake was a KB F tournament a couple years ago. I didn't catch any of the fish I expected or the size. But I blame most of that on the fact that there was a huge algae Bloom with algae about a 1/2 an inch thick on the surface of the water.

Thank you sir! Very fortunate to have the conditions and fish cooperate for two days. Rarely happens!
Great day on the water😎. Absolutely love the top water bite❤️
I got out there yesterday, I managed to pull 5 off some beds despite the less than favorable conditions lol I still feel like I'm riding the waves 😂
Lol I never lost my child like excitement towards fishing. I still act like a 5 year old when I catch one, no matter the size 😂
haha I can relate!
I don’t have a back camera mount on my kayak yet. But when I do. I’m sure I’ll hit the GB quick head snap back when something crazy happens too. Almost like someone is actually there witnessing it with you 😂 I already snap down to my camera with my hands in the air 🤣
There's so much talk about a water shortage in CA and some of th e lakes show that, however Clear Lake appears to be full?
Brad is the man!!! Can’t wait to get up there myself! Also that bite looked awesome!
What a trip man! That place will spoil an angler!! Great stuff Greg.
Ahhh.. Clear Lake. That’s an epic two days! Clear Lake has kicked my ass at times but some days it’s crazy good.
Nothing like topwater days, wherever you are.
Let Sierra know that I switched to them because of you. I’d post photo proof if RUclips let me.
Carry on and fish!
Right there with ya Tom. Had some great days and some stinkers out there. Haha, Cheers!
On your GoPro, there’s is a setting of where you say GoPro turn on and off
Hey Greg or should it be Mr. Clearlake? Phenomal trip! Was wondering how to get more info on your friends rental? Thanks!
Like the wildlife shots too.
Absolutely crushed it! Congrats
Can't beat a fun topwater bite! I'd love to visit Clear Lake, if only it wasn't a 38 hour drive 😭.
Your videos make me want to call out of work & go fishing lol, I'm currently installing new flooring and watching your video at the same time😝🤘🏽!
Until I learned the color of the gills in my bay. This makes the world of difference choosing colors. Black and blue has been the SAUCE here
Last video was awesome, but I’m about to go to sleep. I’ll save this for later in the morning and I’ll enjoy it with my coffee.
#GoodDaySir
Doesn’t get much better then that man!👏👏
Nothing beats bass eating topwater. All I caught yesterday were dinkers on a popper I tied and I would do that over and over again if I could
Dang slayed them on top water good chit Greg!
You Don't Get Days On The Water Like This Very Often Were it is Fish After Fish Nice Man
Can’t beat a good top water day on clear lake. Great footage and editing Greg. Wish I could have been out there with ya!
I. I a. I. Z ia
Have you ever thought of night fishing at clear lake? Use your Huddleston
Definitely some cool bites.
Damn that was a very exciting day of fishing! I need to make a trip there one day👍
That dang water is clearer than my bath water that’s absolutely insane for lake water to be that clear to me since I’ve only seen sam Rayburn Toledo bend and lake fork in my fishing adventures lol

Im gonna have to find a way to get to Clearlake.... You've shown me too much
You are really gifted in the video producing business.
i dont recognizes that boat ramp..?...great video..!
Yoo Greg, was wondering if/when to expect the next restock of your newest GYO hoodies?..those bad boys must have sold out real quick!
How is that lake not packed with boats? If I were any where around that lake, I'd be there frequently
That’s some bad ass content bro 😎 keepem coming.
Great video Greg! Thanks.
What’s the little pliers holder you’ve got on the side of the kayak?
Great video! We’re down there on Saturday but was curious about when this was filmed due to the bedding fish?
So more clear water and you throw crazy bait colors? What's your thinking on that
What's so crazy about a bone color top water bait?
