Yaaaasssss Pvri you NEVER let us down!!!! and now introduced to Sizzy Rocket and Uffie! incredible artists AND NOT TO MENTION the WWE audio in the beginning!! Screaming.
Can someone tell me how the issue with their new music isnt "this isn't rock/heavy like PVRIS' old stuff (or at least pre-Use Me) and that's not why i liked them/listened" but that the issue is it's "girl boss (whatever that means)" or "fuck the man" type music. It totally is understandable to not like their new stuff because its not rock, its pop and leaning into techno-sub genre territory. I loved PVRIS since White Noise, it was my first vinyl I bought new. I loved AWKOHAWNOH. Use Me took time, but grew on me. Evergreen was nice as some songs felt a bit like a throw back to AWK...era with its own spin. I don't know how to feel about this album yet, I liked Oil and Water and thats it so far...But thats right now. Regardless, i know a lot of people feel the same. But what i dont hear is people complaining about Lynn writing music that is empowering women. Of course its not worded like that, its worded like the above, "girl boss music" or how she's in her "fuck the man" era - basically because of the lyricqs to Goddess, but still - and even without straight up saying they don't like that its women for women's rights, it sounds stupid as a reason to not like the music . Whats next, you'll realize that the love / heartbreak songs are aimed at women, realize Lynn is actually gay and complain about that too?
You know, for me, the new music is just boring. I don't care about a girl boss or fck the man, rock or pop. I just feel that the new music doesn't resonate with me. I adore every single track till Evergreen, but everything after it's just meh. At least I have 3 absolutely astonishing albums that I really love
Lol that's hilarious that anyone would have that issue with the music. I just went on a whole rant about how this isn't really PVRIS anymore and is instead Lynn just using the PVRIS name, but having an issue with an outspoken lesbian making woman empowering music?! That's rich, and shows that none of those people have ever paid attention before she got super heavyhanded with the lyrics 😂
I don't have a problem with "girl boss music" you are referring to, my problem is that the music of Pvris since Evergreen was a total letdown. I tried to hang on, but this is the end of the line for me. This is not Pvris anymore, I would've thought that I would see a very sexualized video in Pvris. Lmao
Lynn barely even sang in this song. It was repetitive garbage that didn't even have an outro. It was a nothing-burger. Invoked 0 emotion. I don't even know what they were going for here. It's just a bad fucking song.
i loved pvris ever since white noise and i'll always listen to your songs on repeat!! ❤ thank you for always creating art and sharing a piece of your soul with us :) 💚🌼🐞
I don't hate it. In fact, it's a really dope electropop track! But that's the problem. It's not PVRIS anymore. I wish Lynn would just hang up the name and go by her own. But that's an issue I have with plenty of bands, not just PVRIS. There are so many metalcore/post-hardcore/electronicore acts from the late 00s and early 10s that have strayed so far from their initial sound that should honestly not still be riding the coattails of their previous success by continuing to use the same band name and tarnishing its legacy. Whether they do it for the money/fame (The Word Alive), because they have just become more chill/softer as people (Underøath, Asking Alexandria), or because they have been taken over by the frontman/woman and their sole ambitions (Bring Me The Horizon, PVRIS), it just gets old seeing these bands drag what was once an amazing legacy as a pinnacle of their genre through the mud in an attempt to save time building a new fanbase by leeching off their previous one. If this track was released under Lynn's name, I would have nothing but good things to say instead of going on this rant for the hundredth time. I hadn't listened to PVRIS in years, in fact the last time I listened to them was All We Know of Heaven...and I kinda wish that was the last time I had listened to them/Lynn. That album was an absolute high note.
I couldn't agree more with you. Everything went down hill during the Use Me era, and it got worse when Alex was removed from the band. I came back here cuz I heard Pvris has a new EP, and seeing this video makes me disappointed and confused if I'm going to be honest. It's not Pvris anymore, idc if people will attack me about this, but the Pvris that I know were the ones during White Noise and AWKOHAWNOH, not this mess.
Lynn is just unreal face card never declines
me when i say things i dont believe
@@PsyfadZ10 hi, so this is a gentle reminder to go visit your optician ♡
@@PsyfadZ10 me when my facecard declines so I get jealous of those who have it
"Right so what's our budget for this video?"
"Umm... we have a tarp and 5 gallons of maple syrup."

@@9Cntrft That is so fair! SO many fans these days can just say "EH, this album/EP/era is not for me.I like old stuff and wish them the best."

I feel like this belongs in some iconic American Pie type of movie and you just know the scene everytime it plays
This style is ear-splitting. I missing 2010's PVRIS
gotta evolve man
@inphases9830 This is not progress but regression. And the viewership numbers show it
How am I seeing comments from hours ago? 😮
time zone settings or glitches maybe?
this has to be some sort of humiliation ritual
I miss old PVRIS style… or not old, at least the style of the last album
It's still out there, go listen to it. I love the new and old!
