Only 4 Americans were killed at fort McHenry. And 24 were killed north of Baltimore. Including the sniper who killed the commanding general who burned Washington DC.
During the bombardment, a bomb hit the powder magazine. Had it gone off, the entire fort would have been blown sky high. Providentially, it was a dud, and the fort was saved.

I’ve actually seen that flag in our National Museum almost a decade ago. It’s a sobering experience and something I’ll never forget.
Edit: Also that city was originally against the war, but after it kicked off they sent soldiers and ships to fight for Freedom. When the fleet came to attack those men and women actually sunk their livelihoods, their ships, to block any entry into their bay and to the city. This left only that fort, Fort Henry, as the only path to the city.

Glad you are back at making videos, I have seen other channels who do similar stuff and I think yours are the best. One idea for the future is when we near Armistead day(Veterans Day here in the US), they react to Extra History's Seminal Tragedy. It is probably one of their better video series and the ending is heart wrenching.
