Speaking of mowing the lawn, my neighbor wanted to see how fast he could mow my lawn with his riding lawn mower compared to my push mower. It took him 15 minutes versus my 45 minutes. Ever since that day, he has mowed our lawn every time he mows his lawn. I haven’t touched my lawn mower in TWO years. He’s the definition of Minnesota nice.
Nate saying, "Yeah that's college, ya know," as if he ACTUALLY knew, was like when Michael Scott says, "Campus. Brings back so many memories... that I would've made."
Prayers for Backspace and his family! Nate seems like he's the type of guy that unintentionally steals everyone else's spotlight whenever he's around. Like not only is he the main character in HIS movie, but he steps in and takes over YOUR main spot as well. This can be a lovable yet annoying trait, but I believe it's what makes this dynamic work so well. Animals absolutely have souls! Most are way better than humans...Keep up the great back and forth, it's hilarious, esp when listening to Nate continuously fumble through life in general 🤣
It's funny how Nate does not remember at all being given a ceremony and a jersey with his name on it, even though it was all for him. But "Bengay", who is just a bystander, remembers it perfectly and valued it as a special moment that he will cherish forever.
Nate: Here at Nateland, we want to create a family friendly comedy podcast you can listen to with your kids in the car. Aaron: Your dog doesn’t have a soul. Brian: We fed baby chickens to the soulless dogs. My children: *sobs quietly in the backseat*
Blank Stare getting roasted for not knowing when to move on from a topic and just responding with “glad to be back” is the equivalent of Aaron’s “that’s fair”
Nate!, I was so excited to hear that my brother got to meet you the other day at the Lincoln Memorial. Thank you for being so great to him. You offered to take a picture with him, suggested getting the memorial in the background, and then your manager even offered to take the picture! What a way to treat your fans! It’s hard to approach a celebrity so thank you for making that such a cool experience. You’re the best! I’ll email you the photo just because it’s awesome.
Tense episode here. I think the transition from Nate scalding Brennan for keeping the animal souls conversation going, to immediately listing the way his pets died is the reason I’m here. Gout plays a good mediator for you folks.
I definitely needed you guys today and you did not disappoint. I am currently laid up in a hospital bed after having surgery on my stupid broken foot and at one point realized it was Wednesday and it truly made my day knowing I could relax a little and watch Nate, Aaron, and Balderdash stumble through another episode. Also, I 100% agree with the lack of a sense of urgency in the workplace. It is my biggest complaint working in the restaurant industry. I am eagerly looking forward to every episode for the next 8 weeks as I will be stuck in my couch, showing no sense of urgency whatsoever. Y’all are fantastic.
So I've been trying to clean up my language for my 4 year old son Bryden. He was being a bit rambunctious the other day and I muttered "Good Night" in frustration. I then had to spend 20 minutes explaining to my child that he didn't have to go to bed. Y'all are doing the Lord's work with your comedy! Keep up the good work gentlemen!!
Is Nate really roasting Bingo about moving on to a different topic?!?!?! Without Bingo the podcast would just be Nate and Aaron staring at each other giggling
This podcast is becoming so polished in it's on point randomness.Praying for Brian and his family as their new normal evolves without his wife's mom.On a lighter topic,my fifteen year old daughter drew a caricature of Nate and a "Let's Go Folks" on our porch with chalk a few weeks ago...still there, as I realize our porch does not receive any rain.I suppose free advertising for our delivery people, mail carriers and visitors is a good thing. We do really enjoy every episode.
The best part of this podcast is getting a full explanation of where Nate has played golf in the past, where he is playing currently, and where he’s going to play in the future. Each episode should be called “golf and other stuff”. Love the podcast, I follow a lot and it’s nice to have something wholesome that’s not just shock comedy.
Since i started listening to Nateland i've been getting facebook ads for Gout treatments and studies. I'm only 28 and never had or searched for anything related to gout. Thanks guys.
In Catholic School we celebrated the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi (the Patron Saint of Animals) by bringing our pets to the playground for the Priest to bless. It was awesome. One kid brought a pig, another a chicken, and one even brought an Emu 🤷♀️
I found out that this came out at 4 am where I live as I couldn't fall asleep. Less than half way through that no longer was a problem. Fell right to sleep. Goodnight!
I use to work at a groom shop and Bella was by far the most popular female dog name. I loved the names that were personal to the dog somehow. There was a standard poodle named “Phantom” because he was all white except half of his face was brown and it looked like a mask. Another good one was an all white English bulldog named “Pearl” or a brown dachshund named “Vienna” lol.
Saw Nate And Gram last night in Red Bank. Waited a year for the show. Worth every second. Mike Vecchione was the second opener I went to see him a year ago when he was the headliner. Mike and Nate are 2 of my favorites. Recommend you catch the show my stomach still hurts from laughing.
Let's go folks! Have been patiently waiting for this weeks episode to come out. I am an amateur plane traveler and flying back to Colorado from spending 3 days in Atlanta. I am anxious about the travel but have found comfort knowing my 3 amigos ... Nate, Barnyard, and Aaron will be there
A dogs journey is a movie series with Dennis Quaid and the dogs name was Bailey. So that's probably why it's a popular dog name. Love the podcast guys. Let's gooooo!
Bean Soup gave you parachuting cats over Borneo, and all we got was Garfield and "did they each have their own parachute". Yall should consider having some professional comedians on as guests.
Nate said labradoodles were genetically engineered to be the perfect dog because they don't shed and are hypoallergenic.... the only reason they don't shed is because half of their genes are a POODLE, which doesn't shed as is. Love it when we take our Standard Poodle to the dog park and dog-owners there with their a doodle mixes ask us "Oh, is she a doodle too?" .... "Nah... she's a purebred poodle." The [D] O.G.
Welcome back BurgerTime. My condolences to you and Ruth. ...I can't wait for the Game Shows episode that you leaked on the hot mic! Love all you guys. I'm even finally coming around to double-A Ron and his "big brain."
This may be an unpopular opinion but I think Nate is ENTIRELY too hard on his co-hosts. Bugle asks “how many different pets have you all had?” And Nate responds: “Why are we going back to the church?!” The question was completely unrelated to the church and could have gone in the direction of a new topic if Nate had just given the conversation time to develop. I feel like I’m watching Gordon Ramsay come from the kitchen to scold the waitstaff. AWKWARD. Lighten up Nate.
I've noticed before but it wasn't as bad as this one. I think Nate was tired from a long road trip and was more impatient. It was like watching the boss yell at employees. They can't fight back.
Nate seemed mad about the animals souls religion talk. That whole conversation was great! Keep up the odd remarks Aaron. Bagels For Breakfast keep stirring the pot. 👍🏻
We went to your second show in Washington DC- you were great we loved it. I was surprised when me and a friend were the only people who screamed -let’s go folks!! It seemed the people in our section had no clue what it was about, but you referred to us as “the folks” so it was worth the odd moment. Also fun fact: The Folks is a notorious street gang
At minute 41 I was like, “Wait… did they start the topic yet…? What even IS the topic?” right before Nate reeled it back in. I love that you guys have such a mellow, comfortable vibe that it took me that long to even question what was happening. 😂
Y’all’s retirement party for Aaron’s “landscaper” reminded me of a guy that used to work with me. Major cheapskate, would bring a bottle of soda for himself to potluck, wore company issued safety sunglasses out in town, etc. Anyway, this guy retired twice and changed his mind after he got his pizza party. The company gave him a card for his third retirement.
Hello Folks! Nate, Grill Master, and Baconator. I became a fan of Nate when Greatest Average American came out. Then went back and watched all the other specials and late night appearances. About 5 weeks ago I found Nateland and got completely caught up right before this episode came out and am now re-listening/watching. My wife surprised me with tickets to the Hershey show and you guys were awesome! I have even started following, Grill Master and Baconator on Instagram and you Tube. I pretty much listen to your podcast all day at work now and you help me enjoy my job even more! Thanks for the laughs. Let's go Folks!
I'm a dog groomer and I get a lot of odd requests. When I first started I had a customer schedule and appointment for her dogs baptism. I thought she was joking but she was dead serious. Also, I can confirm that the most common name is Bella. In the grooming world there's a negative stigma with that name because most Bellas will try to bite you.
Big fan of the show, and also a big Georgia fan. Was really excited to watch a shutout game from UGA against Vandy, knowing it was probably an upsetting game for Nate to watch. I shouted a big "Let's go folks!" at the final score. Have a good week and keep up the great work
Once a goat got loose in my neighborhood. My parents, my friend and I all chased it around for an hour trying to catch it. At one point we had it cornered on someone's front porch where it proceeded to jump off my friend's chest and escape. Eventually we caught it by literally roping it with a lasso, a skill none of us possessed, but my buddy managed to pull it off with no prior experience. Some neighbors decided they knew who the goat belonged to and suggested we tie it up in their carport while they went to inform the owner. Upon returning home, they discovered the goat had hanged himself by jumping over their carport wall ... sadly, the rope just wasn't long enough. It was like a scene from National Lampoon's Vacation! 20 years later we still call my buddy "The Goat Roper." Funny animal story; tragic ending.
Concerning this whole "Oughts" debate. I'm surprised no one has mentioned the .30-06 (thirty ought six) ammo round yet. I remember around 2000 or 2001 referring to the decade as the 2000's and a buddy informed me that it's technically the oughts. I said it was stupid, like Nate, and then he made the correlation to .30-06 and it clicked. Getting others to see it from Aaron and mine's perspective is an uphill battle. But helping you educate others is always worthwhile.
Catholic here… Brian definitely drove past a Catholic Church when he saw the blessing of the animals, which is usually done on the Feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals. The blessing is basically a prayer that the animal lives according to God’s plan and and thankfulness for God’s creation. As far as souls, Catholic teaching is that they DO have souls, as do all living things, including plants. The soul is what animates us and gives us life. But, their souls are limited compared to the rational and spiritual soul which God gave to humans. At the time of death, human souls live on while, animal souls are obliterated and cease to exist.
I first learned of this podcast when Nate appeared on Flagrant 2 earlier this year. Given how well Nate nonchalantly shut down Shultz’s multiple attempts to catch him in the spin cycle, I thought for sure Nateland would be a chock full of intellectual insights. I mean, good night, Andrew and Akaash have the sharpest minds in comedy and you had them belly laughing with off the cuff remarks. After listening to every episode Nateland, I’m now left believing the key to combating cleverness is complete disinterest and utter disdain for every topic other than golf and Vanderbilt. Anyway, love the show and thank you, Bonobo and Aaron for the weekly break from the doldrums of corporate life.
Love all the names for Aaron’s animals! I have three cats and they are all named after marvel characters! Loki, Gamora and yondu. Big fan of the show, thanks for all the laughs!
A few years ago, my hometown Dollar General had a squirrel get into the store. Rather than using traditional rodent removal methods, they elected to call the police. The responding officer first tried pepper spraying the squirrel, when that didn't work, he literally used his service weapon to open fire on the squirrel inside the store. Now I can picture the squirrel dodging the bullets Matrix style! I promise this is a true story. If you Google Squirrel Dollar General, Mountain City TN, you can find it.
Love that there is discounts on these very nice products with the ads but pretty sure based off the demographic of people who listen to this podcast Walmart might be the perfect sponsor. Keep up the good work Nate, Aaron, and boudoir.
That Orangutan fight is awesome. There's your next Krispy Kreme challenge right there. Let the folks bet on one of y'all to see who at least lands a punch on it.
Hearing them make fun of Aaron’s pets names reminded me of when I was like 3 or 4 and got an all white fish as a pet. I named him Milkey cause of his color, and then one day decided since his name was Milkey, he could drink some milk. Needless to say he couldn’t and he didn’t make it.
I had a professor in college that was very entertaining and always dropping bomb quotes. To the point that I had one notepad for taking actual class notes, and another notepad just for Dr. Caner Quotes. I remember him saying, "All dogs go to heaven.......and all cats to straight to hell." This was at a Bible College, btw. 🤣
Hi Guys 👋! You guys are amazing 👏. I had to comment as you just mentioned tying our dogs outside when we were growing up and the "rich" people had their dogs on a run like a clothesline..... wellll, I filled out an application at the Humane Society apprx 15 years ago and they asked where the dog would be while we were at work. I was very excited and confident when I explained a nice doghouse and a dog run until I was DENIED!! I was blown away, thinking, don't they know how much I love animals?? Apparently, that idea was animal neglect. I was raised in the country but during a different time. Now I know!! I love listening to you every week. I can't wait to see you live in Maine someday. ✌ Kristen Brazier
Nate, Aaron, and “Bonsai Tree” claim that to be intelligent one must be able to hold a pencil, while neglecting that much of our knowledge of the Big Bang and quantum physics comes from Stephen Hawking! Love the show, only thing helping me make it through my Wednesdays at work
Going to have to respectfully disagree with Nate regarding the sense of urgency. Having watched all 66 episodes up to this point, if there's one thing that no one on the podcast should be worried about, it's a sense of urgency. Keep up the good work folks!
You know it's gonna be a fun episode when Nate starts talking about golf within the first eight minutes, Byron talks about death, and Aaron turns his back on Notre Dame to represent the Mudhens. Strap in folks, this one's off to an gasp inspiring start!
Hey Nate! My Boyfriend Mark and I found you when we first started dating, and watched your stand up special on Netflix together. For our first Christmas, I got him tickets to your show. Unfortunately, we never got to go because of Covid, but have continued to watch all of your specials, and now listen to your podcast. Fast forward to today, and we are now married and expecting our first baby in February. Mark is currently in Officer Training School for the US Air Force and will graduate in a few weeks. I know it would make his day to get a shout out from you on the podcast. You guys are the best- Laura. Ps- if we get a shout out, we will consider naming the baby after you.
Hello Folks! Just wanted to let all my other folks know there are Nateland sweaters on sale for $15 on the official website. Ordered mine yesterday and it already shipped! Let's go Folks!
Aaron: Is there a popular Bailey in the world? Nate: I don't think it matters. This exchange typifies Nateland more than any other. In fact, "I don't think it matters" should be the tagline for this podcast.
Condolences to Ruth and your family Brian. We love you and it’s great to have you back.

I love that Nate spend a solid 20 seconds of our lives describing squirrels to us. People are listening to this, Bargatze!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
The king of one liners, Breakfast Bates, coming in hot with another comment that got lost in the shuffle with, “She’s a good worm.” I love it! 😂
For a podcast with no swearing, it really felt like nate was cussing out beanbag and the gout survivor the entire time
Nate's "Gooodnight!" really goes a long way in that regard.
sometimes it feels like I'm at my friends house and they're getting fussed at by their parents. im an adult -_-
“Is that real?” -Nate
“Did that really happen?” -Aaron
Brian had to earn everyone’s trust back this week.
HAHAHAHA
Glad to see brachiosaurus back in action, last weeks episode wasn’t the same without his worried face!
Nate's Logic: "That doesn't make sense so it's not true".
I am eagerly looking forward to every episode for the next 8 weeks as I will be stuck in my couch, showing no sense of urgency whatsoever. Y’all are fantastic.
This podcast is lowkey becoming a "King and His Court" podcast.

Been praying for Bates and Miss Ruth and family. Will continue to pray for healing.
So very sorry for your loss Brian.
Lmao, Bumblebee and Aaron were talking about something pretty interesting--pet souls and Nate got SO MAD.
Is Nate really roasting Bingo about moving on to a different topic?!?!?! Without Bingo the podcast would just be Nate and Aaron staring at each other giggling
lol literally
"We didn't think this through" is the motto of this podcast.
Great to have you back Brian!
Bluegill Bates is back baby! Man, he was missed!
Brentwood makes the show what it is. His absence makes the heart grow fonder
Sorry for your loss Breakfast!!
Backbone Bates is BACK!
Boomerang

There is no one on this earth who enjoys Nate's comedy as much as Aaron does.
This show rules. Whenever I have anxiety I throw this pod on and feel so much better.
Sorry for your loss, glad you're back; the show is not the same without you.😊
So glad Bobo is back! 🙌🏻
Brian with the animal blessing questions! He was getting mad LOL!
I’ve truly enjoyed approx 30 eps of this pod. I’ve donated my first ever thumbs-up right now for the grains of sand vs stars, etc riff. Dang fine fun.
PS. I think whales consume food in a similar manner as saning minnows or trawling crustaceans.
Ya scoop up whatcha scoop up-

Beavis and Grizzley Adams are great co host they take Nates jokes well. Love the podcast and the koala did it

I missed Brian a ton last episode. Hope he’s doing okay, I just lost both my grandparents unexpectedly as well so I know what he’s feeling
Nate sure did get real serious about how the podcast isn’t supposed to be serious. Talk about a paradox.
"I feel like the sense of urgency is gone, don't you think?" -the guy with no energy on stage
I’m dead. 😂🤣🤣👍
The camera work during the turkey debate was epic, well done crew!

Of course as a knife rapist, you must have more than the average fella… nah, you’re a good man! For a Swedish German…

Did anyone else Google "How do swift birds sleep?" It just felt like Bagels wasn't really sure, but he was correct!
My stock dadism for the age conversation is "the older you get, the older old gets."
Simple and brilliant!
Nate on contactless delivery: "I like that because you don't have to pay attention."
That's the life of a folk.

"Nooo, animals don't have souls." - loved it

Nate and Nateland are about to reach new heights after Cody Ko's shoutout!

The Hershey show was AWESOME! My wife and I were at the late show on Saturday. Nick was funny, Mike was hilarious, and Nate ABSOLUTELY crushed it!
Nate on the defensive with Brian because he's coming in hot with hard hitting questions like it's a "Sixty minutes" episode cracked me up.
Big fan of the show, and also a big Georgia fan. Was really excited to watch a shutout game from UGA against Vandy, knowing it was probably an upsetting game for Nate to watch. I shouted a big "Let's go folks!" at the final score. Have a good week and keep up the great work
This is easily the best episode to date. I'm seeing Nate on Sunday in Red Bank NJ. I wish Aaron and Backache were coming along. Let's Go Folks

@@JF-ym8gm Ah! Neat! I stand corrected.
"Life is Shenanigans" should be the title of Nate's next Special!!!

Anyway, love the show and thank you, Bonobo and Aaron for the weekly break from the doldrums of corporate life.
We don’t discuss animal souls on this podcast, but immortal jellyfish? Completely acceptable.
I think Nate was too wiped out. He seemed agitated from the beginning. Usually its midway before he starts in on B&N.
Aaron gasped at the iPhone. It’s perfectly natural for him to be traumatized by a cat
I think my dog has more of a soul than I do.
Love all the names for Aaron’s animals! I have three cats and they are all named after marvel characters! Loki, Gamora and yondu. Big fan of the show, thanks for all the laughs!
Aaron should ask SharkBates if his dream pet monkey has a soul. Could get a bit touchy
Nate's next special, "A Bear Named John."
Loved hearing the card game gambling stories…do you remember the game guts???

I think I usually say mow, and I’m from Rhode Island
I’m on the edge of my seat waiting to hear about this game show episode Baskins was talking about.
Hello Folks! Just wanted to let all my other folks know there are Nateland sweaters on sale for $15 on the official website. Ordered mine yesterday and it already shipped! Let's go Folks!
Much love from Vancouver :)
we should all be bros cause of Nate!
Aaron: Is there a popular Bailey in the world?
Nate: I don't think it matters.
This exchange typifies Nateland more than any other. In fact, "I don't think it matters" should be the tagline for this podcast.
A Pete Davidson shout out, out the gate, love it!
