I met with a financial advisor yesterday. Finding your channel and seeing a retired friend living in poverty opened my eyes. He said Idbe all set to retire and I'm 50.

I have been watching your channel for about a month now and I'm glad to see there are like-minded people on the internet when it comes to finances. I currently have about 5k saved in a high-yield savings account. Last year after finishing college I started investing but was too scared to invest a lot of my money and just left it in a BoA savings account tracking how many pennies I got each month. I've now got my parents putting their money in a HYSA and am placing 60% of my money into different investing platforms. I hope that more people find your videos and that your channel grows because I have a lot of friends who want to spend their money and live while they are young.

One of my friends who lives this lifestyle, and who once said I dressed poor, struggles financially all the time and she’s in her60’s. The materialism has not improved her happiness. My older sister lives the luxury lifestyle too, but like my friend, she’s broke and borrows thousands from me. I’m pretty content with living a humble lifestyle bc my happiness comes from my dogs and FREEDOM from debts.

I am a housewife now but i do have investments on stocks and ETF in my country! I was fortunate to have a good life in Taiwan because I started investment early. But I want to learn more about investment here ! I appreciate if you can provide any suggestions or any video you have . It is never too late to start.

Personally rather than having the expensive car and the overpriced house to be happy knowing that no matter what happens I'll always be able to pay my bills makes me happy another thing that amazes me is that the same person that shows off his new car or house an can talk for hours about his possession is the same person that will look at you like your scrooge mcduck jumping into pools filled with gold coins if you tell them I just bought 100 shares of tesla
