    I will be truly depressed if Guyton gets drafted over Barton or JPJ. Shit I’d even take Frazier at 24 before Guyton.

      @@teecoop1694 we all watch people who scout these players and we trust their opinions. We can base our opinions off of that and that's completely OK. I agree with this post, Guyton does not seems like that guy for us. Every year there are 1st round offensive lineman busts so it's not weird that teams will get it wrong even with their scouting departments

      Guyton is a Failure for Round 1 ... This draft has lots of good Tackles.. and very few Top Centers. The correct
      move is Center as the 1st pick.

      If Dallas takes Guyton, then I have to assume he’s going to be good, based on prior experience taking OL in the 1st Round. But if JPJ & Barton are there, I SERIOUSLY doubt they’d take Guyton. They’re BOTH more talented football players.

    Cowboys should definitely be considering a trade back of maybe 5-10 spots in R2 to pick up a top 130 pick . 5 picks between 60 and 130 would allow Cowboys to really reload via the draft.

  • @K.O_inthe1st

    Why are you guys so enamored with drafting a RB in Brooks that only started one year and has a torn knee. Trey Benson is the pick. Especially at 2 with everyone talking about RB being devalued why would we draft a hurt RB. It just doesn’t make sense. Is Brooks Adrain Peterson cause that’s the only running back I ever seen come back from that injury.

      @K.O_inthe1st Who is enamored with Brooks at 24 other than Jerry or Stephen ? Most Cowboys fans don’t want him in first round .

    • @OmahaSand
      @OmahaSand 28 дней назад

      Exactly ... Brooks was not the Best/In/League before he got his ACL injury. Idiots love repeating mistakes .. Deuce Vaughn was a mistake/pick at RB. You've got folks who didn't get enough of that .. They want a 2nd mistake with Brooks.

      @@OmahaSandI think deuce was a fine pick up only reason I say that is be cause it was a super late draft pick that had actual production in college but I get what you are saying.

    • @OmahaSand
      @OmahaSand 27 дней назад +1

      @@K.O_inthe1st Nope .. Zach Evans from Ole Miss and Kenny McIntosh from Georgia .. both succesful SEC top tier RB's were on the Board when Vaughn went ahead of them. Vaughn a gimmick.. when was he ever going to pass block? Turpin was already on the roster handling return duty and a better Cochroach receiver than Vaughn would ever be. Jerry should watch the Hallmark Channel if he wants a good cry. Vaughn's "production" was simply a by product of way more touches than other RB's got.. about 30% more than most other College RB's. Evans went to the Rams and McIntosh to Seattle.. Cowboys would have a strong RB room right now if they'd just taken the normal route. They never learn... they are considering the One-Legged ACL RB from Texas... Brooks .. Their memory on bad choices didn't even last 1 year.

  • @ForeverDC_
    @ForeverDC_ 28 дней назад

    Love Cooper, but the problem with Cooper is he is a Will LB and so is Overshown as well as Clark. Kendricks is the only Mike/Sam. We need a Sam LB...Coulson or Wallace and the LB room is not as big as the RB & WR room. They won't take an LB or a RB at 24. It will be an OT or C or DT. And, it's your opinion that Cooper is overrated! I don't think he is, but I wouldn't take an LB or a RB at 24. For me, Frazier is the best C in the draft and I hope we take him with our first pick either at the bottom of R1 or top of R2. We need picks so I see them trading down.

  • @gpierce85
    @gpierce85 28 дней назад

    We at least need Guyton ( Last Resort for me), Barton, JPJ, Morgan, Frazier to all be there at 24 and hope KC wants to move up and if so you net you a late 3rd and a 5th in return for 24 and us dropping to 32 and if JPJ or Barton are there you take them or if they arent then you go Frazier and you run that card in. Then try to land you a later round Gem/steal in Christian Jones the LT out of Texas. He went against elite comp off the edges the last couple of years. Dallas Turner, Chris Braswell, Will Anderson, Will Mcdonald etc... kicked all their asses too. You just solidified 3/5 of your OL for the next Decade+. Jones, Smith, Barton/JPJ/Frazier, Martin, Steel/Richards. We will be a top 5 OL again. Unless LB Copper or Wilson are there at 56 you go Franchise RB in the 2nd either Benson or Brooks or Wright or Allen in 3rd. #2 Rec in 2nd or 3rd round Legette, Corley Coleman, Polk Worthy, Mcmillian, Tez Walker. Use that extra 3rd to go get you a DT to replace Hankins Departure or go get Cooper Beebe and draft him to replace Martin after next year. Then fill the rest of our LB, CB, DL depth with later picks. Another Option is we save that RB pick and use it for a LB, DL, CB, or WR instead. Then we take a Day 3 late round pick and flip in to The Texans for Dameon Pierce. A 24 year old Bell cow back on a cheap rookie scale contract for this year and next. He had 1,100 yards as a Rookie behind a Sub par OL.

  • @Capncomeback2023

    I think Marcus’ is way off concerning Barton. Even with the flexibility he has, if he plays really well at C and Martin retires, then it makes MUCH MORE sense to keep Barton at C and either Draft a G or move T. J. Bass to RG.
    Also, I don’t see the reasoning behind trading down like 10-15 spots so someone else can take a position that you need. SMH. 😬🙄

  • @FreddyMacT

    re-signing Zeke is bad enough... if they draft a RB they will be so unserious that I genuinely think a collective boycott would have to happen.

  • @jrhaney11

    The need that would help the Cowboys the most in the 1st round is a speed WR that takes away coverage from Lamb and makes the running game work better. An O-lineman would be a prudent pick and so would a DT but they don’t get the headlines or the fan excitement like a Touchdown scoring WR. I would trade back a few spots pick up extra mid round picks and take a big named WR with speed and playmaker with some special teams return ability. 1. WR Xavier Worthy 2. WR Adonai Mitchell 3. WR Ferguson.
