My concept totally cleared and I can solve all problems related diffusion in solids easily after viewing your video sir,,I really very much help from your class, wish your long life sir
sorry, maybe i'm confused or something but this was very unclear explanation. when you show us how to solve for D (inital). you didn't mention in the video that you had to multiply the boltzmann constant by avagadros number and i still don't know where you got 573k from.
Sorry for the confusion. I mistakenly used k when I should have used R, the gas constant, which is the Boltzman constant multiplied by Avogadro's number. I do use the gas constant when I first introduce the formula at 2:34. Raniel is right about the Kelvins. Thanks!
Definitely one of the best videos I've seen on this topic. Thank you.

how did you get erf(z)=0.8125??????
In the equation for D at ~ 2:22, you didn't define "e" or "pre-exponential." Please define these.
Please can you explain the pesudo steady-state time equation?
I explained this to my dad while we went for a walk yesterday morning.
Qd is fixed?

He just converted from Celsius to Kelvin :D

Thanks professor. I have a question, could you tell me the diffusion coefficient of Cu in ferrite steel?
Thanks for helping me solve my assignment ;)
sir, voice is low, i cant hear
You might check your hardware or software. No one else has had this problem.
@@EngineeringandDesignSolutions Everyone else does have this problem
Wow i actually learned something
Thank you so much
