Hello from Ontario Canada Mayfair, I am a senior now and my son is now 30he is all I have in the world, I was told I couldn’t have children but God blessed me and he was born on our Tenth Wedding Anniversary. He was an 8 week premature sweet boy, now that I have no family left just him, he is my world and always has been, I truly believe God gave him to me as a gift, I protected him and now he is there for me. I went through so much ( had my baby at 29 weeks due to preeclampsia) Being a first time mother at 41 years old during Covid was a lot. As I watch this, I am so moved to hear you being so open and transparent. One thing that has been in my thoughts due to people around me that are struggling....Don't give the "enemy" power or space in your life. Don't name it, don't claim it, don't hear it, don't address it. It may seem easier said than done, but I truly believe it in my entire being. On another note, I am a mother of twins, and in 1984 when I had my babies, people didn't even speak of post partum anything....I have a testimony. I am praying for you dear.
@Blessedandfavoredfamily We dont know Malaika's diagnosis, she seem to be like her dad. Maybe she is not ready for a walker right now. Im sure they take her to a pediatrician. In time, they will learn if she is capable of bearing weight on her legs or not.

I really think you're on the right track to fill a need. I always observe after the baby is out. every one in the room gravitates around the baby and momentarily ignores and forgets the mother. A real short but felt disconnect period that can and does confirm to the mother that the attention has shifted suddenly. I'm a mother of five here plus one in heaven
I am 65 years old I had my 1st baby at 18 I had my second 11th months later whilst pregnant with my 2nd baby I would cry wondering how I would cope turns out my 2 and just fitted in to the routine but I remember tough times I went on to have another 2 kids but I really could have had someone like you to listen to as back then I couldn't talk to anyone about how I felt how to cope my feelings of uselessness at times thinking I wasn't a good mum like everyone else even though my kids were my world my love so at the end of the day what your doing is fantastic to help parents of children parents to be God bless you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I'm a mother of 11 beautiful children. 3 are here at home still. 11, 15, and 17. Yes the enemy is always busy. He steals, and destroys. Yes he will try to distract you. But look towards the hill where all all our help come from. Jesus Christ. He's always there with you all. You're not by yourself. You will be ok baby. I have children the age of you and your hibbie. AND granbabies the age of your baby. A mother's job is never done. God got you. I will keep you all in prayer. We all need it. But don't stop keep pushing forward. Keep the faith.
