Lastly, LORD when they call on YOU in earnest prayer to come into their hearts to be born again (repentance manifesting itself in a changed life), I pray that YOU WILL GIVE them the blessed assurance of their salvation because nothing breaks YOUR HEART, or tears YOU apart like when they cry from the trials of the devil who comes to slander, falsely accuse, steal, kill & destroy. Only by drawing nearer to YOU LORD will put them on a path to a glorious one way trip winding upward to YOU where pain is not welcome because the heart will never break anymore. For ONLY YOU UNDERSTANDS our tears since YOU LOOK at the heart, while humans look at the flesh.

I think what you truly mean to say is she will never mention the name of Jesus in her songs. I feel I f she did she would not sell as many records as she does. I really do like her music. She claims to be saved. She’s is a contemporary Christian artist. They tend not to shove God in your face as much as other types of Christian music. I do think her music is a good starting point for new Christians.

Thanks for sharing. Can relate as evidenced by the following sentences delineating how we use music to deal with spiritual attacks. The negative influences of this world are designed to make our heart sick through emotional & physical pain resulting in a given person turning to music as one source of comfort to the body. The painful realty of this existence gives rise to the birth of music in two forms, earthly & HEAVENLY. Earthly music speaks to the experiences of this world through the singer-song writer’s eyes. Oftentimes drug use (i.e. alcohol, smokes, marijuana, cocaine, opioids, benzos and propofol to name a few) is intertwined with the survival of an artist to deal with the pressure of performing in order to stay relevant in the music industry, and to serve as fuel for creativity. As a result, music celebrities develop a tendency to sin against their body, through excessive drug use, for not measuring up to or to satisfy the demands of their music. Any earthly joy they experience is darkened by the heavy burden of performing and the loss of privacy.
The end users of their music become fans because the lyrics are relatable and the sound of the singer’s voice & rhythm helps them cope with the pains of this reality. Unfortunately, this band aid approach is only a time out from the hurt and in the meantime we are fortifying its wall with painful memories waiting in line. Who can save us from wounds that are silent, wordless and cruel all the while tearing us apart inch by inch on the inside, which could radically accelerate the demise of the human body? I will use caps as emphasis to show the honest reverence for GOD'S SOVEREIGNTY when writing about HEAVENLY music in the paragraphs below.
That INVINCIBLE DIVINE be our HEAVENLY FATHER, WHO THROUGH HIS SON’S MISSION HAS INSPIRED believers to write songs that sing of HIS LIFE GIVING LOVE to deal with emotional & physical pain, economic instability, mortality and the emotional instability of others with the motive of winning over souls for HIS KINGDOM. The melody & theme of HEAVENLY music is hateful and intolerable to the devil, a spirit which causes us to be blinded of the effects of sin and is responsible for the woes of this world such as melancholy, anguish, tribulation and trial. These agitations of the soul create a heavy burden for the lost and could lead him or her to be hostile of songs that sing about GOD’S GLORY. This makes it clear that we cannot win the spiritual battle by our own strength. Moreover, on earth the devil has no equal.
GOD has provided us with the ONE WHO CAN AND WILL LIFT the heavy burden of sin's guilt from a given sinner's heart if he or she (through faith) would open their understanding to Psalms (starting with the focus on Psalms 51:1-10 KJV), and hymns/songs giving praise to HIM for the purpose of being persuaded, converted and healed by the HOLY SPIRIT from within by transforming your body/temple into a meeting place for you and the KING OF THE AGES to commune as friends through the born again experience (repentance manifesting itself in a changed life). It is only here that the fears of tomorrow will diminish, the blessed assurance is given that you are HIS and HE LIVES. Once the blessed assurance is known in prayer (through the confession of wanting salvation from one’s sinful nature, combine with admitting that JESUS CHRIST is LORD and believing in one’s heart that GOD raised HIM from the dead to deliver us from sin's guilt) the world can never take it away because the world didn’t give it to you.
Such authentic and common entreats of Christians, she sings what we all are thinking, praying and TRYING to live in this evil world, a world that does not at all understand our walk with God.

almost 3 years ago, at almost 22 years old i almost took my own life. I was abused as a kid, broken, depressed, anorexic, bulimic, suicidal. I went in & out of psych units like it was a game of tic-tac-toe. Suicide watch. I was on enough Antidepressants to kill a horse. I hated myself. I wanted out. I wanted the pain to stop. The gaslighting* to end. *(when a psycho makes a sane person question their own sanity, and thus think they themselves are the insane one).
I wanted power. I got into witchcraft. I thought it would give me the identity i wanted, to be set apart from people who hurt me. It only made me sicker. Sicker. Thats what it did to me.
The doctor said id never get well. That i would suffer severe Chronic Manic depression, and never be well, that id be stuck on antidepressants all of my life.
I would plot suicide on a daily basis, binging and purging my food as often as opening and closing a door. The pain was too real. People choked me. Assaulted me. Told me i was ugly, i felt worthless. Nothing ever got better. Then my mother died. The (1) & only soul who ever loved /emotionally supported me was removed from the earth. I was stuck living with people who broke me, ruined my identity, thus causing me to hate God. I thought God hated me, that he was just like the ones who tortured me, a family of abusers, who cover up all their actions with the mask of religion. I didnt know that God is on my side. I didnt know that Jesus would Love and Defend me, and fight for me and that He later would heal me, rescue me from Family. The ones who caused me pain. The ones who choked me for wearing a necklace.
I moved out after family threatened to throw all my belongings on the front yard, and have me permanently institutionalized in an insane asylum, when they were the ones who caused my mental illness via abuse.
They blamed me for the abuse they did to me.
To take my life in an insane asylum when they were the ones who made me suicidal.
Next morning i spoke with my dead moms parents who let me live with them.
I stayed on the antidepressants, prescribed. But they only made me sicker. I got deeper and deeper into witchcraft, thinking it was a solution. But it made me even more suicidal. Self hatred was inescapable.
I decided i was going to kill myself. I was going to take all my pills.
But then Jesus stepped in. I didnt die. I surrendered my life to Jesus to make me well and heal me.
The deity i blamed for me being abused wanted to heal me. He Was fighting for me and Loved me all along.
He wanted to love me. He wanted to give me His Heart.
😭 HE LOVES ME. JESUS. LOVES. ME .
Jesus miraculously healed me - i am off all drugs and dont need them and i dont have any mental illnesses. I work a job and am totally healed , full of joy.

I don’t mean to bust your bubble, but It could be a gift in deception and depending on if you're a solid believer, or a non believer in Christ. You can watch and hear her own words on her defense of the LGBTQ movement with Ellen DeGeneres, her desire to move away from Christian music and in general her doubts about the infallibility of scripture and her opinion on God in general. You’ll either be shocked and stop supporting her, or you’ll turn the other cheek and ignore her compromising way’s and devaluation of christianity in whole. Just google her name with Ellens, and Lauren Diagles controversial statements. I loved her music at first, but then saw these interviews and comments, realizing how misguided she was and what a danger to young believers who can evaluate like Lauren if the Bible can be trusted, or left to ones own personal interpretation. Several years ago, I had the unique experience of sitting next to Lauren Daigle on a flight from Fort Lauderdale to Nashville. I was not at that time an aficionado of contemporary Christian music and I was not familiar with Ms. Daigle. When I asked her what she did, she told me she was a singer, but she said nothing that would have indicated to me she was a world famous, widely renowned singer. She was so down to earth and pleasant, I would never have known she was a worldwide superstar.
Since that time, I have become her number one fan and marveled at her talent and her complete devotion to her faith.
The truly amazing thing is she has been able to achieve the height of stardom, but throughout the rise to her current level of fame and accomplishments, she has stayed modest, humble, and personable. This particular song, Hold On To Me, has been personally inspirational to me as I deal with a tragedy involving my son and I cannot imagine anyone on the planet singing a more powerful and beautiful rendition than Ms. Daigle blessed us with in this performance.

I don’t mean to bust your bubble, but It could be a gift in deception and depending on if you're a solid believer, or a non believer in Christ. You can watch and hear her own words on her defense of the LGBTQ movement with Ellen DeGeneres, her desire to move away from Christian music and in general her doubts about the infallibility of scripture and her opinion on God in general. You’ll either be shocked and stop supporting her, or you’ll turn the other cheek and ignore her compromising way’s and devaluation of christianity in whole. Just google her name with Ellens, and Lauren Diagles controversial statements. I loved her music at first, but then saw these interviews and comments, realizing how misguided she was and what a danger to young believers who can evaluate like Lauren if the Bible can be trusted, or left to ones own personal interpretation. I dare you to test your curiosity.

I made the original comment to see how people respond to it. It's sad there is no discernment among people who call themselves Christian. Not all but a lot.
