Thanks for the video 😁. I knew vinegar would remove rust but I had no idea it would remove Forge scale. How much does it remove? Will I still need to use a wire wheel?
Thanks for watching! It depends on how long you leave it in, it can clean it all off. To get a shiny finish, you would still need to hit it lightly with a wire wheel or some other abrasive.
Havent seen this one before, interesting to see how you have evolved as a producer of both content and hardware.
Yep this was a couple years ago!
Always good to see what other people are making.. thanks for the share.
you bet, thanks for watching!
I make more money at festivals from small "J" hooks and hearts and other small items than I do with larger items.. Nice video, thanks.
Cool, yeah, i think having a variety is good. Thanks for watching!
some good items there bud ,sadly we don't have railroad spikes in the UK i wish they did as you do so much with them over there in USA
If you have access to a cement mixer I've seen them used as tumblers with sand to clean off rust, might save you time on wire brushing
Cool idea! I've also heard of a wire brush tumbler you can get from harbor freight, i really want to invest in something along those lines soon.
Why do you keep to axes and knives when your so talented
I like blade smithing and cutting/ wood craft tools..
Thanks for the video 😁.

Where do you get your railroad spikes? I don't want to pick them up along the tracks, as that's theft.
Last time I ordered some off amazon
Be a man, steal them

A real man obtains things through honest means.
@@Jetmech1781 its not stealing to find them on the ground as they do not reuse them
