When you really think about where Vader is at the point of the epilogue, it all just comes crashing down on you... By now, Vader's lost his wife, his best friend left him to die, and the only thing he had left connecting him to his old life at this point was that his apprentice might be alive. So, he goes to the crash site, and finds her lightsaber... and if you look closely at the shot of his face, you can see his eyes through the lenses, and they aren't Sith yellow. By finding her lightsaber at the crash site, he thinks she's dead. From his point of view, the last thing keeping him tied to his old life is gone. So, he walks away, and they show us through the reflection of the black visor of a Clone helmet with her face, and as he walks away, he disappears into the darkness, along with the last glimpse of Anakin Skywalker. As for the episode, you mentioned that there's no silver lining, no happy ending... but that's the thing. That's what the Clone Wars is... when the war ended, and the dust settled, there was no happy ending. There was no celebration. Nobody won, everyone lost... everyone... except for Sidious. Exactly how he intended.
I'm not convinced he knew she was dead. I've seen some speculation that what motivates him to travel to the crash site years later is that he sensed her, after the Siege of Lothal episode of Rebels. That's just speculation, of course, but it's intriguing as heck! I tend to like this idea because his Inquisitors knew who she was, which means they had a tacit knowledge of her which could have been imparted by Vadar. Only Filoni knows for sure!
Spitfyre Vader knew she wasn’t dead because in the new vader comics he sees force visions and one of those is his fight with Ahsoka in rebels which is why he says “it was foretold you would be here” when she confronts him
Ahsoka already tried to have Maul killed by setting him free without a weapon. She also refused to side with him now that he's been proven right. I can understand him ditching them.
I won't deny, I cried when I watched the episode. Especially, when Ahsoka removed Rex's helmet just as the tear ran down his face. I love that they showed how powerful both Maul and Ahsoka were in the force. R.I.P Atromechs, you were brave and loyal until the very end. Ahsoka standing before the graves of her friends, dropping her lightsaber, and Vader finding it thinking she's dead really pulled on my heartstrings. Can't wait to see Ahsoka in the Mandalorian season 2, if everything we've been told is true. Also, totally get what everyone meant by your dad looked like a Jedi
Nate Tex Vader actually still knows shes alive. In the new vader comics he sees different force visions and actually sees his fight with Ahsoka in rebels. That’s why he says “it was for told you would be here” when she confronts him.

Notice how Darth vader walks. He moves very stiffly. They put a lot of detail in this episode. The suit and his legs are pretty new so it probably hurts a bit to walk.
@@headmasterhastings4884 Yes, I was going to say, this isn't immediate. he didn't look for the crash for quite some time. I've heard speculation that this might take place after the Rebels episode Siege of Lothal, where Vader and Ahsoka sense each other.
Vader never moves smoothly. Palpaitne purposely gave him a set of cybernetics that left him in constant pain. This IIRC was only a couple years after, though. Apparently in canon (even if it doesn't make sense) the GAR changed to ANH era gear very very fast, like 2-3 years after the Clone Wars.

They were saddened when she left the order after her being accused of a crime she never committed, then painted their helmets to match her when she came back to show there respect for her, then her being forced to fight them because they were programmed to do so, she never wanted to harm them, she still saw them as her friends as well as her family to a certain extent despite them trying to kill her. Awesome arc! I just really hope Disney will eventually release all of the 40 still unfinished Clone Wars episodes. I would also love to see what happened with the Bad Batch, Kanan Jarrus and commander Gregor and Wolf during Order 66.
I love your reaction and ever other reactors reaction to these last four episodes. I'm 42 and was such a big fan of Star Wars growing up and when the prequels came out it was a very big thing for us, and I got to share the prequels with my nephew when he was younger. Back then I would speculate and head cannon every aspect of the prequel trilogy. I remember how people back then would pick apart the flaws in the movie but I always saw the potential in the story and had expectations of where I wanted the story to go and I must say that this series exceeded my expectations.
So glad I saw the recent TWD episode (6x9) as it was a big episode, it just got taken down which is a shame because it was a really good video, glad I saw it before it got taken from us
Why can't Maul wait for them? Because Ahsoka made it very clear she didn't want an alliance with him and basically was just using him as bait and didn't care if he died or not.
Not planet, moon. Just before they crashed, Rex stated that the moon's gravity was pulling them towards it. Remember before this episode, and echoed again by Jessey, that any clone that doesn't follow Order 66 will be demoted and subject to execution like the Jedi, pretty sure they extended to anyone aiding and abetting the Jedi too, which is why they destroyed the droids. Gregor suffered brain damage during a crash. Rather than taking him back to the Republic to fulfil his duty, Rex left him be. Since he wasn't part of the army, he had no orders to follow. It might not have mattered anyway, as his amnesia/brain damage likely cut him off from those commands anyway. Wolf still had his chip in Rebel's I think. He reported the Rebels to the Empire sooner after meeting them, lol. I think Rex laid low with Gregor and picked up wolf later down the road. We were told the clones were decommissioned after the war, probably because of the PTSD they suffered once it was all over. Rex tried to fight his directive, but in the end succumbed. Jessey even seemed to struggle a bit. I can't image the experience was different for the others. PTSD coupled with guilt/regret isn't something the Empire would have wanted anyway. It was better to start with a new batch of people who hated the old system that oppressed them anyway. Well, played Palpatine.
At this point there's over one hundred comments so I'm guessing this has been answered ─ they crashed on a moo₁…er, _moon._ But they did not identify it by name. And since they came out of hyperspace in the middle of their journey, not only would those on the ship not know where they were right away, but there was likely no record of where they ended up _for those that might be searching for them_ later. So, then we had to jump ahead _(who knows how long, really?)_ to the point where the ship was *finally* discovered. From the time skip, all we know for certain is that the *Empire* has had time to look way that we see them in the original trilogy. However long that took.🤷🏼♂️ The snow was simply an additional marker to clue the audience in that some time had passed. That way, even if one wanted to make the kooky assertion that _the day after_ *Order 66* the *Empire* actually managed to _suddenly_ look like the *Empire* of episodes 4, 5, 6, then one would have to at least acknowledge that enough time went by that at a change of seasons occurred, and it's now winter on that moon. Ultimately, I am of the belief they meant for us to recognize that more than just one season had passed. And while it does look like the Empire of episode 4, I don't believe they want us to think that it had taken that long. Of course this is only a guess on my part based on *Vader's* body language. IMO, this is as early in the Empire's existence and *Anakin's* life as *Vader* as possible, while still looking like the established Empire we came to know. ₁🐄🐮
Probably got to remember order 66 was the most huge and and crazy orders that was lead out. I mean it’s an order to eliminate all Jeti and I’m sure this episode brought a lot of emotion. But the good thing is that it was wrapped up nice and neatly didn’t rush through got everything right and slapped on an amazing ending. This was by far one of my favorite episodes.
@Thoughts of Dat Boi Personally I don't hate it but I'm really mad for all the missed opportunities. I wouldn't mind if they expended the characters in a better way in the the future.
@Thoughts of Dat Boi simply because they thought star wars fans are so dumb, that we would eat up any old shit they serve and keep the cash register ringing. I'm hoping that they've had a huge wake up call and things will change. I won't hold my breath though.
I thought that ship was going to crash in a position that would reveal it was the ship that Rei was salvaging in Force Awakens - would have been an insane tie-in.
Clone wars shows us best the turn of anakin , for most of the show he is this guy who jokes around alot and would do anything for his friends and now we see a man who was last seen smiling to ashoka now broken with nothing left and is lost in the choices he made and it's honestly quite sad
Basically i can call whole reaction: "Emperor Valkorion and not corrupted by Nathema zealots, Vaylin watch how new Sith emperor establishes first Galactic Empire "
I just don't know if anyone got this but that shot of mail had red and blue lights going off behind him, and he is in the middle, meaning he's not a Jedi or Sith no more. Ahsoka Tano dropping the blue light saber means she is no longer a Jedi under Skywalker, for it was the main thing he gave to her. The gray clock is a defamation that she is now a gray Jedi. BTW love seeing Young women into star wars, me being a older male that saw it in 1977 in the movies
The reason they had no chill with the droids is because in the clones minds the droids where commiting treason by aiding Ashoka so the chip basically made it kill on sight just like they where doing with Rex and Ashoka
Your Dad does look like a Jedi, though. If there are any grizzled Jedi Knights or Masters in SW: The High Republic, I'm going to be picturing your Father as one of them. That beard and hair are giving off serious Force vibes. :)
That really shows you how the separatists felt about the republic as the ruthless oppressors and why it was so easy for the Emperor to manipulate them...... I was super disappointed by the Vader scene because this is after order 66 and after he believes he killed Padme and now he "may think" Asoka is dead and almost no reaction...... this is like a new finale loss for him......"Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering." which throws to kotors sith code of suffering( passion). Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken. The Force shall free me.
I heard you guys asking did they really have to kill the droids? And at the end of the day they were trying to carry out orders and those droids were just making them look like fools. Like, after the first time they used those platforms to drop down half the men, i just wouldnt stand on the platforms any more lol. But unfortunately, killing them was 100% necessary to the clones at the time :/
Star Wars The Clone Wars will forever be apart of my life and soul. Growing up from 9 to 21, I have watched this show from the very start with the movie to the very end with this finale episode and it will be forever loved and cherished. May the force be with you always. Seeing all of the Clone helmets with their graves just makes the tears start flowing. We all as the audience, fans, viewers, etc know that the Clones deserved so much better But may I just say that Clone Wars style Stormtroopers, Snowtrooper, and Darth Vader look so much better and cooler than Rebel’s designs.

I don't believe this is an immediate visit, the Lambda class shuttles were not in use. Others with more knowledge could say how long.
Great to see Jedi Master Rahm Kota reacting to The Clone Wars
At this point there's over one hundred comments so I'm guessing this has been answered ─ they crashed on a moo₁…er, _moon._ But they did not identify it by name. And since they came out of hyperspace in the middle of their journey, not only would those on the ship not know where they were right away, but there was likely no record of where they ended up _for those that might be searching for them_ later.
So, then we had to jump ahead _(who knows how long, really?)_ to the point where the ship was *finally* discovered. From the time skip, all we know for certain is that the *Empire* has had time to look way that we see them in the original trilogy. However long that took.🤷🏼♂️
The snow was simply an additional marker to clue the audience in that some time had passed.
I would give your dad a 2nd thumbs up for his Jediness. :) It's a gift father and daughter could watch this together.
Darth Dad... Great video you guys; very entertaining.
The sequels are a joke to this series.
Sequels are a joke regardless
Most of Star Wars is a joke compared to this.
Hey Snips!
Dooku *was* a Master Jedi!
Love these reactions... Thank you!
That trick Asohka did is actually based on a deleted scene from Revenge of the Sith where Obi-Wan and Anakin do something similar.
The best episodes of the entire Show!!!!
I want to be like this guy when I’m a dad 😂
Such a classic dad thing to do
Reaction started, my mans rocking the Ben kenobi drip
Yeah, Drive Shaft, great band. You all everybody! ;-D
You are on this council, but we do not grant you the rank of Master.
Your dad does kinda look like Obi-Wan... YOU CANNOT DENIE IT
More like Rham Kota to me. But what can I say, I am old fashioned.
*deny
The lost oportunity of opening the video with "HELLO THERE"
Juan Tobar dammit, that would of been better 😂
I love your shirt! That's still my favorite live action show.
"Let's try spinning, that's a neat trick"
so sad, making me cry throughout my years
6:35 *laughs in sith lord*
I thought that ship was going to crash in a position that would reveal it was the ship that Rei was salvaging in Force Awakens - would have been an insane tie-in.
Mail is not a coward. He knows he’s beaten and the ship is destroyed so he did what anybody would do!
Clone wars shows us best the turn of anakin , for most of the show he is this guy who jokes around alot and would do anything for his friends and now we see a man who was last seen smiling to ashoka now broken with nothing left and is lost in the choices he made and it's honestly quite sad
For me personally the saddest thing for me for the last 2 episodes was Jesse's involvement as hes one of my favorite characters
Man we lost so many characters in this show it really makes you sad when you think about it
Vader felt so out of place in that beautiful white panting. In a good way out of place of course.
Well done! Great intro and great reaction!
Half expected "Family Therapy" caption to turn up
And now to conclude.. you have to watch SW: Rebels...
Haha awesome intro from your dad!
You’re dad missed the opportunity to say “hello there” in the intro lol
My dad's reaction to this episode: "Holy shit!! That was hell!".
Ahsoka says she won’t be the one to kill them yet she indirectly did by releasing Maul.
Basically i can call whole reaction: "Emperor Valkorion and not corrupted by Nathema zealots, Vaylin watch how new Sith emperor establishes first Galactic Empire "
Hey anyway u can put up link to 6x9 of walking dead??? It got taken down
I just don't know if anyone got this but that shot of mail had red and blue lights going off behind him, and he is in the middle, meaning he's not a Jedi or Sith no more.
The dad's beard make him look like qui gon
Yes u do look like master jedi , GREATINGS from Poland!
Rip to all my clone friends who were good soldiers to the end.
The reason they had no chill with the droids is because in the clones minds the droids where commiting treason by aiding Ashoka so the chip basically made it kill on sight just like they where doing with Rex and Ashoka
Your dad is the MAN!
Imagine watching this without knowing that Ahsoka survives.
May the 4th Be with you! all #everyone
4:30 I have the same cup
Does anyone have the link to watch the episode by itself?
We all as the audience, fans, viewers, etc know that the Clones deserved so much better
But may I just say that Clone Wars style Stormtroopers, Snowtrooper, and Darth Vader look so much better and cooler than Rebel’s designs.
Reminds me of Obi-wan, that was awesome..
You guys should really react to Star Wars The Old Republic cinematic trailers in order, it’s some of the best SW
At least we get to see Asoka in the Mandalorian.
You now need to see Star-Wars Rebels. Ahsoka Tano and others from Star-Wars The Clone Wars are also there... She's much older there...
Remember the bad batch from the first 4 episodes of the season? They're having their sequel series! You should do a reaction to that!
Master Jedi Yeah
These aren't the droids I'm looking for!
wait, i don't know what happened...
The Best Season, good reaction!
6:08 bruh maul literally told ahsoka nothing but the truth and offered to cooperate with her 3 TIMES, to Which she declines and fully intends to leave him to die on the ship. What else was he supposed to do in this situation? She had it coming 🤣
Your dad is hilarious!
your dad just needs a jedi braid then it'll be complete.
Cant wait for Mandalorian season 2
You seem to have a biased hatred towards Maul. If only Ahsoka would've listened to him, things wouldn't have gotten so bad.
I see a mix of Count Dooku and Obi-wan.
