Thank you for feedback. I have not tried a dehydrator for no particular reason maybe just lazy to try it......but I reckon it will work a treat and most likely will speed the process. Bonus is you can by a few rump steaks and try it out and see without spending a fortune on meat. It may only need a 2 days drying...let me know how you go..
