Wow. That was a really good overview of both rigs. Great level of detail on both setups. I’ve always liked The Kangook story and I’m happy to see them rising from the ashes. Whoever bought your Kangook got a nice walk through on it. Your Mom has to understand that $10k is the price to pay to be an active pilot, with your own aircraft, with the best seat in the house, that will provide hours of happiness, adventure, and stories worth sharing for years to come. Enjoy that new rig!

And Kangook USA offered to send me new stronger swan neck arms after seeing the play I was getting out of the light weight ones. Great Costumer Service with JC!!

no issues thats just drips of fuel out of the carburetor air box connection because it runs rich at the elevation I fly at and I don't break the high adjustment seal on the carb.

@@IanRyanKirk 96 drill holes and rivets for a net replacement. Had 2 spars crack when wind blew my unit over in sand. That was like 2 years ago and I'm still dumbfounded by it. Cracks are easy but time consuming, ugly, and add weight each time. Plenty of cases where prop goes right through spars like butter by design --- $190 a piece but you save a prop, maybe. They messed up making spars too weak for the unit. I even cracked one spar the first time I set the unit up.

4500 on lessons alone? DO NOT DO IT. That is excessively expensive for sure. I have never heard more than about $3500 and thought that was expensive as well, and I'm not a cheap person and find lots of value in training.

Mark From Florida Here, Keiser,. Absolutely if the _$4500 is for Super Dell it will be money well spent. If your thinking about Aviator's here in Florida in lake whales I'd say no. Kyle O Glee is a Great instructor. His Fee is only $.1500 . There are rooms you can rent very close to him. Check him out on youtube. You can be 70 and still be flying a paramotor. No such thing as "high hang points'". There is certified and uncertified. A helix prop is over TWICE the weight of the high tech props on the Flat Top. No quick release harness, way too bulky, bends you at an awkward uncomfortable angle during launch & landing but you mention stitching? No crumple zone, no protection from the prop, no face plant protection, 7 lbs heavier than a Flat Top... the previous scout pitch man already died because of a hoaxflex death trap wing. Zero competent pilots fly hoaxflex death traps because you have a 100% chance of death. Yes 100% . What do you think the odds of taking a major collapse are over a lifetime of flying? 100%. What happens when you take a collapse on a hoaxflex death trap? Backflip 180 and it locks into a face down spiral at the ground.... why do you think soooooo many have died and piles more will die if they don't look at the facts? Pro's & cons? There is no "pro" to units that haven't had a safety update to address ANY of the well known issues causing serious injuries & deaths for over 40 years. There are hundreds of reasons competent pilots ONLY fly Flat Top paramotors fine sir. You can learn about them in very specific detail by watching this video series: ruclips.net/video/KyVWAJ1kRBo/видео.html people's lives depend on getting true and accurate information from actual experts so one who doesn't understand the basics let alone the 304 reasons we only fly Flat Tops really should just be encouraging people to learn info from the very best not trying to do reviews on horrible gear they know very little about as they haven't died yet. Please stop flying immediately until you get proper gear and training. At least 80 people have ignored this warning and then DIED exactly how I warned them. Piles more just recently. Then there are the thousands who did listen to the facts from those with experience who lived as they simply followed the input from those that truly have the experience and understanding. Please do not try to do reviews on gear without any real understanding. If you fly a hoaxflex wing stop flying immediately until you get SUPER training along with a Flat Top & Dominator as those flying hoaxflex and units like scout or kangook simply have no idea what's going to happen to them and obviously didn't do any research when looking into the sport. This sport is incredibly safe IF people get SUPER training along with a Flat Top and good safe glider like the Dominator. In the entire history of the sport only one single person has ever died on the safer gear and that was from trying to do acro near the ground they were never taught to do. Get the right gear and training and it's quite incredible. I personally have way way way way over 11,000 flights without a single injury. If I flew ANY paramotor other than a Flat Top I would be dead right now at least a dozen times over. For those interested in the real actual sport call 800-707-2525.

Thanks for watching.....Yeah sorry..... the J-Bar Suitcase Frame with a High Hang Point Carabiner wing attachment to the harness off the shouders.... Here is a video ruclips.net/video/wrBAxA-e_0E/видео.html of me flying what I was talking about with it pictured in the video Thumbnail...... That unit was not in this review. Really not sure what you are referring to with the "Certified & UnCertified" so if you know of a better way for me to describe that style of attachment, please feel free to let me know....... Never had the opportunity to fly the "High Tech" prop you are referring to above and have only ever seen the Helix Props on the Flat Tops that are slimed down towards the center without the extra air scoop for the cooling shroud, and the prop I'm referring to is also in that video link above...... There is no quick release harness on either of these harnesses in the review...... The stitching I'm referring to is on the aftermarket Power Floats..... I wouldn't say either unit requires the pilot to bend in an awkward or uncomfortable angle to launch or land. Both seem like pretty standard to me with an upright run to launch and nothing special to run out the landing. Thanks again for watching...... Blue Skies!!

@@IanRyanKirk All paragliding harnesses have the same certified height hook in points. The height is specified when they do the certifications of the glider. It's critical because it's well known that people will at times pull too much brake. So to address this they standardized the height of the hook in point and then glider manufacturers making gliders to be certified do a lot of work to ensure that with a certified height hook in point their gliders will be stall and spin resistant. So with a certified glider like the Dominator and certified height hook in points like on the Flat Top you could bury the brakes as far as your arms can pull them and it will not just stall. Raise those hook in points and all that work they did to make them spin and stall resistant goes right out the window which is why so many stall gliders on paramotors like those that are put out by those who know nothing of the sport. Then compound that with the fact that they don't have any crumple zone or air bag or foam padding which again pretty much every paragliding harness has today to address the vast amount of spine injuries in the past. So nobody should ever be flying units with uncertified height hook in points. It makes no sense. Death continue to happen over and over despite the fact that they addressed this safety issue over 40 years ago. This is why it's so critical for people to only listen to actual experts in the sport that understand the details of what's critical as people's lives literally depend on it. Not being aware of certified height vs uncertified height hook in points is a good example off this problem. People are out there acting as instructor who don't have even the most basic skill or understanding of the sport themselves. So safety issues addressed over 40 years ago are now killing people over and over again. Just like flying totally uncertified death trap gliders like any glider they call "reflex". It makes zero logical sense. They simply don't have the performance of quality wings and are so deadly one collapse and you die. Again this was the whole point of flying gliders designed to recover from collapses. It's just horrifying to see people flying hoaxflex wings because of a marketing scam and despite sooooo many deaths they just keep on pushing it. So I would highly recommend getting SUPER training along with a Flat Top & Dominator and just learning about the sport the right way through those that care about your life. Then you will be flying circles around those on the horrible gear and while having thousands of times better safety. Hope this helps.

Dell Schanze your gear is mediocre and killed your friend and your main trainer. Your wing was designed in 2008 and is slower than my new Colorado and half as safe. Even Trevor your cousin trashed your gear after you trained him. $15k for that? I’ll pay $7k for way better equipment. You have a missing finger and broken vertebrae in your back from crashing! Who’d overpay for your gear? A newbie who doesn’t know your lying to them! Don’t buy a Dopinator or you’ll regret it!!!

@@larrykorell750 Just to be fair, Dell lost his finger while riding a motorcycle, and not flying Paramotor. I agree with most of your comment, however. The gear is only as good as the pilot flying it. It is critical to choose the right instructor for you. You must be able to completely trust your instructor. Fly safe 👍🙂👍.
