@@lowlevelgamedev9330 You definitelly should, make it look alike Distant Horizons mod, it gives some pretty awesome view for the player English not my main language btw, sorry if there are any errors
I personally admire what Minecraft has been able to achieve with their world gen and also believe that no other 3d game has procedural world gen anywhere Minecraft's world gen but maybe I am just ignorant of what other 3d games have achieved with their procedural world gen.
Minecraft was at its best around version 1.5 in my opinion. The only things I would add to that would be the updated boats and swimming. The game used to be empty, but that was the point. One way to play the game was to see how creative you can be with what little you had. And the second way was to add mods. Mods would never contradict with the base game, because it was so empty. So you would craft your own "minecraft" with mods, and then play that. All they had to do was improve optimization and add actual modding api and support. Maybe even a workshop like in Steam.
bro youre super handsome! however i love watching voxel videos for a large part because i like the ingame footage! not because i want to look at a guy, even if hes a beautiful as you! me personally, i would appreciate pure gameplay:)
mechanics and everything is amazing, but rendering (graphics) looks kinda odd, i was thinking why is that for a while and i think it's missing a fog, or if you already have a fog it should interpolate even more, for example from distance 100 to 500, not from 450 to 500
Its looks good, a lot like minecraft world generation with mods like mod Biomes O' plenty or the biomes you'll go. Btw. Did you implemented / plan to implement greedy meshing or something like this?
thank you, and for greedy meshing I won't do it because I think it is extremely overrated. It complicates many things and in my case it won't speed up the game. Thevertex shader takes extremely little time and the fragment shader takes a ton of time so optimozing the vertex isn't a good idea
A lot of programming is just starting something that you want to do and sticking with it. Pouring time and energy into it until it's what you want. It is tough, but if you enjoy logic and find a project you enjoy, you can do it just like this guy. The stuff he is working on might be a bit harder than what you should start with, but also don't be complacent and only do stuff you know how to do otherwise you won't learn much and might get bored of your project.
I do not agree with this. I think Minecraft terrain generation is actually good. In my opinion, terrain generation being realistic is much better and more stunning to look at.
Not gonna lie, this looks awesome, I'd love to play in a world like that. Minecraft has issues and when I play it I always use mods and stuff to "fix" it. Your game may just be the "fixed" minecraft I crave.
And its just gonna keep getting beter!
looks fire
btw are you using LODs?
nope, maybe I will tho

The rivers and roads look amazing
thank you 💪
It looks really good i love it. Maybe a part that could still be a bit improved is the transition between biomes so it looks a bit more natural

@@lowlevelgamedev9330 honestly I'm trying but I just can't understand it all :(
(Slowclap) 👏👏👏👏👏 You've done it again.
did just a random guy came and fixed minecraft world gen?
