Juncos are indeed fascinating to watch
I love juncos and feeding them sunflower seeds. They are so respectful unlike the other birds. They eat the food they snap in half on ground leaving it clean.
Had a male Junko at my feeder today. It's fun to learn about them.
So cool
Junco rocks!
Juncos nest on the ground? LOL. Surprised they haven't gone extinct. Sounds like yummy treats for rodents.

Who gives a shit?
I’ve got a junco living in my herb bed and am looking for info about parental roles while nesting. Can anyone point the way?
