- Our family of 12 spending Easter together. (Well mostly together...Josiah and Pearl had lessons today). Pearl also has a performance later today. So we headed to church with the youngest 8 kids. I tried out my "colored sticker" idea for the Easter egg hunt and it worked sort of... I picked too close of a color for Enoch and Josiah. Someone suggested I put an initial on the sticker too. That's a pretty good idea. In in the end everyone had a fun time eating their candy stash.😂 Even if finding the stash was a little challenging.... Melody had a little fall, but thankfully she is alright now. Then we dyed some Easter Eggs and had lunch! Happy Easter everyone! #largefamilylife

Fun tip for coloring the eggs next year. If you add a tablespoon of mineral oil to the dye, then you can dip in one color, dry it off, then dip in another color. It makes them look marbled!also, if you bend that wire tool for dipping at the bottom, it’s easier to dip the egg in the cup. 😎

That was a cute idea with the stickers. I missed out on Peeps this year. I love Peeps but I like them stale. My boys never liked Peeps so I got to eat them every Easter. My husband asked me one time why I got the boys Peeps since they didn’t like them. I just grinned at him and proceeded to eat a Peep. He looked at me and said Oh.
That was a great egg dyeing kit. Very vibrant colors. When my boys were little the dyeing kits weren’t that good. That was many years ago. My boys are 49, 47, and 43 😂😂😂

At least you got sun. My kids had to wear their rain gear to do their hunt. They had a blast though. We went to playground to do our hunt. When we were leaving another family showed up to do theirs. lol Kids don't care about rain! HAPPY EASTER!

It's interesting seeing you live in New York that's so foreign to me, you guys have to buy passes for the subways oh, I was just wondering how that worked happy Easter and you had a wonderful video of the kids hunting their Easter eggs and I love the way you did that that was really brilliant❤
Thank you! Yes we have to pay for the subway, but the younger children are free. All we have to do is tap the phone as we go through the turnstiles and it automatically deducts the amount. It’s pretty amazing!
