How to Draw the Wind Turbine Blade in Correct Method

  • There are many parameters to design a Wind Turbine Blade. We are to draw the blade in correct method corresponding to the design parameters. You will get some knowledge of HAWT blade drawing in correct method from this movie. You can use Auto CAD, Solidworks or other CAD Apps. In this movie I use Auto CAD to show about it.
    I will show about Auto CAD script file creating for this Wind Turbine Blade in the next movie. If you have something to talk, feel free to write comments.

    Great video man, nice job. But I have a question, what is the advantages of bending the airfoils down?

      Thanks for your good question. Aircraft wings go straight through the air. But such in wind turbines or other most turbines, blades are rotating and go through the air with a circular path. In designing processes we always consider that the air goes in the straight direction (lift and drag force). So we need to refit it in modelling. Smaller the radius of turbine, more need to consider it. thanks.
