Ingredients Used
1 box of pineapple flavor box cake mix
4 eggs
1 3.4oz pack of French vanilla instant pudding mix
1/2 cup shredded coconut
2/3 cup melted butter @ room temperature
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp coconut extract
1/3 tsp orange extract
Follow box inaugurations to mix. Bake @350 degrees F for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out dry. Note: This recipe is altered and may require more baking time!

I'm making this now. Don't have the coconut extract or flakes so I used coconut milk. Hope that works. Will make again because I just bought the extracts (after I put the cake in the oven. 🤦) Added crushed pineapple into the mix as well. 😋

My sister substituted the "regular" instant pudding mix with the "sugar-free" pudding mix. Thanks for suggesting that we can use "unsweetened" coconut, as well. ;-D The cake came out fabulous!

I made this yesterday for my Thanksgiving table. I followed your instructions to the "T" and it was a HIT!! Although I did not eat any (I am on a keto diet right now and this was off limits for me) everybody else loved it. Thank goodness I doubled the recipe and made two cakes so there was enough for my crew. Even my hubby who does not really like sweet treats asked for a second serving. Thank you so much! I am looking forward to trying more of your recipies.

Wow....I love love the extra ingredients used to bump up this store bought cake mix. Adding pudding mix and heavy whipping cream is pure genius. Outcome looks really nice and deliciou...I bet it was so flavourful as well. I wouldn't mind a slice with tea 👌🏽

Live this hack. I noticed that you did not flour the pan, this time, do this particular cake do not need the pan to be floured?

@@user-ro8ei9iy7o I don’t usually get the issue unless the cake is underbaked. The center doesn’t have a chance to set so it sinks In.
