@@TomoFujitaMusic I subscribed to your Guitar Wisdom recently and I have learned so much. I wish I had found you years ago. My knowledge of guitar is improving so much now.
I have a BOSS clip on metronome-tuner combi device. It kept on going "Low Batt" and had me wondering, "WHY?!?!?" Then I realised I use it just about every day, day after day... LOL. Going old school for a wind-up one!
Amazing video as always! I was wondering if you might want to make a video discussing how to divide your time spent practicing well? (Like time spent practicing technique/scales, improvising/creating original music, playing other artists songs and transcribing your favorite parts, etc.)

Do you have a lesson on how to play the chord progression at around 7:30? Or at least what you would call that type of playing/progression? Thank you Tomo!! I bought the metronome you have and I focus so much more on my timing because of your videos!
I've a query.... I know almost nothing about an electric guitar. From that view point. What are Pick-ups? Why are there different pickups? What is the point of switching from one to another pickup? Is one pickup position better for: Strumming? Fingerpicking? Harmonics? I played violin for decades and was under a rock covered in moss, basically. My GTRS has a 5 position switch. The software allows me to choose different pickups at each of the 5 positions. The Coils are SC-1N SC=1M HM-1B. I can select 11 different types of coils at each position. Even make it sound like an acoustic. Sounds like an acoustic but doesn't quite resonate correctly. The options are crazy and I don't know enough about the basic Electric guitar to really do too much with it. With this subject you might fill up a month- 😁 Be well Master Tomo.
Hey Tomo, please make a Robben Ford related video. I totally fell into his blues approach! Also I recognized some little jazz lick similarities between you and him , and he also use the pick in the same way as you and using 10 gauge D'Addario strings like you ( and other 25 millions of us 😂). Did you ever have the luck to talk or play with him? I can't listen enough his guitar play lately, absolutely amazing mind! 🙃
@@TomoFujitaMusic yes, and also he said "do not to be afraid to play almost nothing" absolutely brilliant! And "guitar is a rhythm instrument " , he is just on another level. Please do anything Robben Ford related that makes you happy, it will be good for us too for sure. He has a Bb7 blues rhythm lesson that is partially based on the " 4 note chordes" (one of the things that I learned from Guitar Wisdom ), absolutely amazing! Thank you for your inspiration and to sharing your kindness and knowledge!

Franz Model LM-5. They're out there on e-bay. I picked up one a month or so back for less than $40. When it arrived I discovered It would only work intermittently and was way out of calibration. Did some research and tinkering and now it's just about spot on! I love it. And thank you Mr Fujita for passing all your knowledge on to us wannabe's!!

Thank you for the lesson, I've been doing that for a while now and it feels much more natural now that way. I do like the wood tone for the metronome, it sounds like a snare rimshot! This video reminded me of SRVs Cold Shot music video, pulling out all the guitars! :) The short videos are cool, maybe that will be better for more people. Personally, I love the long videos too. I usually watch several times! I might only watch a few minutes, because if there are foundations I need to review, I go back. Then, eventually I finish the video at my own pace! I want to understand properly. Your 7 essential licks video I have been watching for one week now, learning one lick per day!
Thank you Mr.Fujita.
Good training for cutting and grooving check.
Thank you!
Because of your previous lesson, I got my metronome a few years back! Mahalo
That is awesome!

Great lesson, my instructor stresses using a metronome. You’ve got an impressive guitar collection.
Thank you so much!
Tomo, I always learn something new thanks to you. My suggestion for a video would be about proper bending technique. Thanks again Tomo.
i second this!

I have a metronome on my smart phone but have not used it yet. I have fear it might throw my timing off
It's way better to use a metronome unit!
I could be off but isn’t most music between 60-140?
Nice video Tomosan.
Thanks for sharing. If its good music then any tempos are so fine!
