Toyota and Lexus Dealer are very Expensive ! Charge over $2,000-$4,000 sticker price plus Tax. I just bought a Lexus Rx350 2015, 57k miles from family under $14k! I’m very happy
Yes, they all have a digital option for the speedometer. It’s in vehicle settings, I believe. It should say, analog or digital choose one. I too only use digital on my RAV4. Until I figured it out, I was using kilometers. LOL
It's on the steering wheel left side menu, press left or right arrow until you see the page with mpg info, then up arrow should get you the digital speedometer page @@MOHAWKAUTO
like to know what mpg is like in my real world which is mountainous, heavy winter 4 to 6 months out of the year and cold temps very hot temps? i also drive 80 dooing my commute which is about 60 mile a day. my 2015 prius get 40mpg about. mostly all highway miles.
People take this all over the place, including the mountains and our interstates have 80mph speed limit. It’s also over 100 for weeks during the summer. We haven’t had this through the winter yet, but I doubt the mileage will drop too much.
I still prefer a traditional transmission over CVTs. Maybe that will change one day. After all, it took a long time for automatic transmissions to evolve to where they are today.
@mikej238 I went and found a great video explaining the eCVT and how the gearing works (I wanted to ensure I didn't miss anything about how they operate). Are they better than other CVTs with a chain/belt? Yes. However, I'd still take a DCT or even a standard automatic over any current CVT or eCVT. It simply comes down to me not liking like how they sound or feel. I'm not saying that they are bad, I'm saying I don't prefer them.
Man, I love toyota's. The drive train except for they are just too cramped/ tight inside as well as Not as nice looking dash control set up and info set up system Like u mention...ughh.. Absolutely love that new design of the crv... But if they could have the same drive train as toyota. Oh yeah comma and no freaking hump in the back when the seats lay down Besides, maybe a spare tire also.. Torn
How can you say that? The car is a 2023 you wait it’s not about how much it cost but you get out of it, and how long it takes you, because other SUVs just because prices are low doesn’t mean it’s best fit.
I agree. Ultimately, what one person views as a value will differ from another person. What matter most is how much utility (value) a person gets from their purchase. There are a ton of cars in this segment and a large range of prices. I feel like the RAV4 is a great value and balance of features, performance, and fuel economy.
Toyota dealers are ruining the brand name. All Toyotas are priced over MSRP and usually you must order a vehicle, wait months for delivery and only discover that the dealer wants to make add-ons. Bye, bye Toyota.
All dealers are priced over MSRP usually. For some cars (Corvette) the markup can be 50k or more! I don’t think this is the end for Toyota. I don’t like that dealers can do the markups like they can here in the US as I know other countries don’t allow for that.
It may not be a requirement for everyone. I still have cars more than 20 years old that I drive and love. However, it’s nice to have some of the extras. I agree that it’s a bit much sometimes.
Stay tuned! We actually have a bronco sport video coming soon. I’ll be reviewing many vehicles, including some older models, as well as some projects. Let me know what else you’d be interested in seeing and I’ll do my best to make it happen.
Avoid. I would prefer to buy a different brand new vehicle with a lower MSRP and no dealer markups. Overall, customers ought to focus on what the new car will be worth in 2 to 5 years. If I finance for 4 or 5 years (longer if one is out of their minds) still having a vehicle less than you currently owe on it is nonsense!!!!
Buying any new car comes with the risk of depreciation. Cars are not assets and are expenses (there are rare exceptions). Focusing on what a car will be worth in the future is akin to valuing a stocks future performance. There’s a lot of variables and the market conditions can change wildly. Instead, I recommend getting a vehicle that checks all your must have boxes, as many of the want boxes, and have a payment that fits your budget.
I have a 2020 RAV4 all gas and have got 45MPG. With a lot of power.
" have gotten" I have a hybrid Rav 4 and " have gotten" 65 mpg and it HAS MORE power than the non hybrid 😂

That’s awesome fuel economy!

Go to settings…change the meter type to digital..
I’ll give that a shot, thank you!
The RAV 4 does have gears, it uses a planetary geared CVT gearbox which is excellent.

Looks like a decent driver.
I really enjoy driving this! Of the 3 new Toyotas we have, this is my favorite to drive.
I have the exact car same color and everything!

Minus there electric issue with there rav and the dealers need to be kicked out of their company to get a fair price it would be an ok vehicle

Bronco sucks. Pure crap 💩. Only the Jeep worse. CR scores brutal. Perfect dumb redneck vehicle for the low IQ target market sector. 👍
