Sir our system is a failure , the SC ordered this engineering counselling to be completed by 31 Dec 2021 that's the main issue courts' interference is a major problem .

I had just now contacted kea and they told me that those who haven’t reported to the college and paid the fees after second extended round seat allotment don’t have to cancel their seat now by paying the penalty. There will be another link provided by kea in a few days for the cancellation of our seat. They also informed that there won’t be a problem for neet counselling and we can participate in kcet counselling next year too if we haven’t reported to the college and paid the fees after allotment in second extended round , there will be a separate link provided to us. If you have reported to the college and not cancelled your seat by paying the penalty then there will be legal actions taken. This was the information given by kea.

I have went to kea Malleswaram today. Engg Seat was alloted to me in 2nd extended round but I didn't pay any fees before. I asked them about this, they said leave the website empty and not to pay, it'll automatically cancel the seat. But I can't participate in next year kcet engineering counseling they said.

100 percent what you said is correct sir. I support you. BUT BUT Where is our society and students are heading. How can someone be introduced in engineering and medical at the same time. How can such a person excel in that field. Logical thing is , if a student is interested in engineering and if he is not getting seat he should go to BSc or degree where subjects are similar to engineering. Same way if a student is interested in mbbs and if he is not getting seat , he should choose a degree similar to mbbs. If a student says he interested in Mbbs and engineering and commerce and law and management and police department and political science and anything is ok. How far it is correct and how can you encourage? That is the reason in India we will do civil engineering and will go for software jobs. This way country will not progress.

I called kea helpline number they said the link was only for those who want documents immediately for neet they can cancel the seat by paying 5times penalty and I also asked them about mopup round they said there is no confirmation and there is doubt that they will conduct mopup round they said if mopup round will be held then we will send notification in website those who want to cancel seat they have to pay penalty of 5times fees for now

Sir, Last year also this problem was there 5 time fee penalty. We have faced this. But last year KEA gave on last chance and no penalty was charged. Actually before counseling, KEA had released one Gazette notification mentioning 5 time penalty.
Due to our last year experience, we have not chosen any seats. Only waiting for NEET medical seat till date.
