Those runway lights at Tel Nof made recovery interesting. So glad you guys were good at DEAD. I was Elite 2-1 flying solo SEAD after my flight went code 3 NMC.
I'm quite new to DCS and I have some questions about how to do stuff. The fist being at 12:06 how did he edit his HSD to lock onto the other aircraft and see him on the HUD? The second being whenever I try to use the HAD with the HARMS it just says "power off" even though the HARMS are powered on, unless it's a switch.
I can help you with that. At 12:06 I'm using a PDLT (Primary Data Link Track) or a data link selection as I like to call it. I go over how to do this in more detail here - ruclips.net/video/ZKTjFPotY2A/видео.html Your second question sounds like you either don't have a HTS (Harm Targeting System) attached to the jet, or it's attached, but not powered. to power on your HTS pod, you have to turn on the left cheek station power switch which is just to the right of your Stick in the cockpit. @@BogeyDope This helps a lot. I was being daft and I didn't have a HTS attached. And thanks for the link I'll check it out now. I just remembered another question. When you press AG mode, the SMS page where you can power on the weapons pops up, but if I leave that page I can't get back onto it because whenever I press SMS again it shows my payload. Thanks for the help again and great video like always!!
@@4321olleH If you are in A/G master mode still, and you are only seeing your payload when you press SMS, then you are probably in S-J (Selective Jettison). If so, press SMS, then press S-J again and it'll take you back to your weapons SMS page. If not, then you are not in A/G master mode anymore. If so, you will need to press A/G again and then go to the SMS. Let me know if that is not the case.
I don't remember his name. I have a picture of our class with his signature on it, but I can't read it. (Ssgt Hodiger? Holliger? Not sure) HAHA. He was a very tall and very skinny SSgt.
