Dear Pravinder Ji, One of my friends purchased the Noizzybox from Amazon and I had the opportunity to play with this radio. As for the looks, this mini vintage looking radio gives an impression of a robust WW-II equipment. Its a small but bulky looking radio. Wish the designer had made it a bit slimmer (thickness wise). My friend had paid Rs.1099 but quickly the price was increased to Rs.1199 and soon, within a span of 10 days or so, jumped to a whooping Rs.1499. IMO, considering the size of the speaker, the overall sound quality is distortion free and quite good with good loud volume. Yes, it does lacks in good stronger BASS, as rightly pointed out by Pravinder Ji. Also, as rightly mentioned by Pravinder Ji, the width of the tuning dial is inadequate for SW, but does pull-in and tunes the SW station(s) without much fumbling. IMO, for Rs.1499, this radio don't justify the retail asking price - There are much better options out there. However, if you are purchasing this radio just for its retro looks, you would be a better judge. Just my personal thoughts & opinion on this nice vintage robust looking radio receiver. Haha, thanks so very much Narendra ji for your inputs, in fact valuable ones. I realised its price hikes and the tag 'best seller' on Amazon maybe the reason behind it. I personally don't like this idea of vintage looks in new items. I feel new should be new and shouldn't imitate the old (be it Radio or anything). Rather buy truly an Old radio. But I guess, that's just me, and I might be among the minority of people who think so; for the majority of them the retro looks give happiness. Anyway, every Radio finds its audiences.

It could be a great bang for buck deal for youth who are looking into an introductory radio/bluetooth speaker with some additional features. As you already quoted it's built quality is commendable, no doubt Indian Players are doing their best to bring forth features rich offerings at an affordable price points. But I personally avoid these products. All in one concept is something that I don't pursue at the first place if I am searching for either a Speaker, a Radio or a Torch. I would rather segregate all three above into procuring it from Sony's, Tecsun's/XHDATA's and Eveready's. All in one product, no doubt can be a boon for a money conscious individual, person who's traveling and want to pack light or for someone who's stuck in emergency. But if one can, my recommendation will always be to go for a standalone product. Something that exactly does what it is intended and manufactured for. 73! 🙏

Now All India Radio has discontinued SW transmission. So SW band is not that useful for Indian listeners. But Radio Ceylon still transmits on 11905 K Hz in 25 meter band from 7-30 to 8.00 in the morning and one can enjoy the good old Purani Filmon Ka Sangeet. Chidambar Kakathkar, Mangalore, Karnataka.

Waise mujhe vyaktigat taur par ye retro look de kar naya kuch bechne wala concept jyada achha nahin lagta, chaahe Radio ho ya kuch aur. Jab nayi cheej chalti hai aur uska look purana hota hai to lagta hai ki ye aakhir hai to naya hi, wo to nahin na jaisa ye dikhta hai.
Dilip ji, yes, far superior. But then Grenade is twice the price of it. And not just sound quality , Grenade is superior than this one in terms of LCD display, folder and random play options. Even Amkette Pocket Blast is better in sound quality than this one. But this one has the advantage of Analog tuning and MW/SW bands and retro looks. So I guess they are made for different people and different needs.
Ji, Kamal ji. Par kuch din pahle iska price kam tha. Isake looks aur isaki performance ke anusar ye related audiences ko attract kar sakta hai. Retro looks ka fashion hai shayad aaj kal.

जी, देखिए, वो हर स्टेशन अपनी मर्जी से चुनता है कि किस फ्रिक्वेंसी पर ब्रॉडकास्ट करना है और उसके अनुसार मीटर में वेवलेंथ अपने आप निर्धारित हो गई। लेकिन सरकार से पहले पूछना पड़ता है कि उस फ्रिक्वेंसी पर कर सकते हैं क्या ब्रॉडकास्ट।

सर नमस्कार मेरी ड्यूटी बॉर्डर पर होती है। मैने कुछ समय पहले ब्लूटूथ बाला रेडियो लिया ।जिस में F M और AM था । Fm का कोई एक स्टेशन पकड़ता था। मैंने 2000 रुपये के बीच के ब्लूटुथ लिए पर इस के रेडियो उतने अछे नही है।

Bluetooth speakers mein Pagaria Grenade ka FM theek laga hai mujhe aaj tak, lekin abhi usake comparison video mein dekhenge ki kitna theek hai.

इस रेट्रो नोजी बाक्स में आप ज्यादा उम्मीद ना करें। इसका रेडियो ठीक ठाक सा है। लेकिन ब्लूटूथ और चिप लगातार गाने सुने जा सकते हैं। मोबाइल का रेडियो एप से इस पर दूर के स्टेशन किसी भी समय सुन सकते हैं।
इसमें आवाज अच्छी आती है।
1500 रूपए में आप इससे ज्यादा की उम्मीद मत करना।आपका यह कहना ठीक है यह एक खिलौना मात्र ही है।जो आपका अच्छे से टाईम पास करता है।
एक 3 या 4 हजार की रेंज में डबल स्पीकर वाला आता है।वह तो देखने में ट्यूब रेडियो जैसा दिखता है। लेकिन वह भी पैसा वसूल कह सकते हैं।
सर जी आप इस खिलौने से दस हजार से लेकर एक लाख गाने सुन सकते हो।
अगर हम पिकनिक मनाने जा रहे हैं तो यह आपको बोर नहीं होने देगा।

Jab nayi cheej chalti hai aur uska look purana hota hai to lagta hai ki ye aakhir hai to naya hi, wo to nahin na jaisa ye dikhta hai.

I think pagaria granade is better in terms of audio quality
Dilip ji, yes, far superior. But then Grenade is twice the price of it. And not just sound quality , Grenade is superior than this one in terms of LCD display, folder and random play options.
Even Amkette Pocket Blast is better in sound quality than this one.
But this one has the advantage of Analog tuning and MW/SW bands and retro looks.
So I guess they are made for different people and different needs.
