@@theCameraVille yes! I’m a Nikon photographer of 20 years and making the jump to video. Something not as expensive as the Atomos Ninjia but good enough to get my feet wet in video and N Log. The budget would be ideal if under $400
@@Eleanor.Moseman If you need an external recorder, I would recommend Atomos Ninja . bhpho.to/4dmLT0g , amzn.to/47I5E1g . If your looking for just a bright external monitor just for viewing, Viltrox DC-X3 is probably the way to go. amzn.to/3XWzhbK , bhpho.to/4dnA4am The new shinobi, it was quite thin and overheats if your using for long period of time. I ended up staying with the DC X3.
I’m shocked at the amount of accessories included in the box! Seems like a steal! And it looks pretty solid too. Nice one! 🙌🏻
Yes~! I really love the hard top and the case that came with it. Its wild it came with so much at this price range.
Could you please link dtap to dc cable you used for this monitor?
I guess you didn’t see my whole video 😭

Love that I found your channel. What was recommended to me was by a Canon user - and it isn’t compatible with Z systems
Hey! I use the monitor on a Z system . Which system are you using at the moment? Let me know🫡
@@theCameraVille according to websites the Atomos Shinobi - and also doesn’t have the best reviews according to B+H.
@@Eleanor.Moseman Are you looking for just a monitor screen for your Z camera?

Did you try firmware update?
How is the noise from this monitor? Is the active cooling fan loud, does the mic pick it up?
Its at the end of the video. Very well control noise level
I’m not a video guy but it’s alway cool to learn more.
