      It's honestly a double edged sword. One hand I hated that no one ever actually went over the mixer properly. Even then, I am not the foremost expert either. The other point is that no matter how much time I spent going out of my way. Everyone wants my help, but then just shops the cheapest elsewhere. I stopped releasing new videos because originally they were just tutorials for my customers. I have tons of other videos I never posted. Reality is the world has changed to the point where people want the world for nothing. Nothing directed at you. I know there are many people that find my videos after they already purchased.

      This was a video for one of our customers as a tutorial on the system we customized for them. I will be very honest with you. Part of the reason why we do not list everything is because we live in a world where all our hard work is taken for granted by so many people. They just want free information and then only care about who will sell it to them the cheapest. I hope that made sense & please note this does not mean you are like that. If you ever would like us to customize a solution to improve upon your system, please email us Sales@Madproaudio.com to set up a consultation.

      @MADPROAUDIO  Год назад

      Send us an email to Sales@madproaudio.com. This will depend upon different factors. Plus laptops change continually. If you would like to set up consultation, I am sure you can tell by our videos that we are very indepth with help. & to be clear as to why we mention consultation. We do this because originally these videos were just for our customers. We don't post new ones anymore because everyone has proven the past 10yrs. that while they are very happy how much heart we put into those videos. All those same people still buy things with the cheaper bigbox retailers. Yet those big places never once showed the type of care for people like we do. I hope that made sense, we are forced to charge for our time due to it. We can customize laptops too. & anything anyone spends on consultation fees, they get back when they purchase, so you never lose any money, it's just a way of trying to open people's eyes that you always get what you pay for in life. If you look up madproaudio customer reviews, our reputation speaks for itself. & once again, sorry that I did not just give out more information for free. Not your fault, just years of seeing people watch videos, know they are the most detailed ever and still refuse to buy from us. Example; Let's say a mixer is $399 and several places sell it for $399 and a few sell it for $419. & we sell it for $399 too. the no care sellers that sell it for less get the sale when we did 100 times more than they ever will for their customers. I wish I did not feel the need to explain, but I want people to start to see why we stopped giving out free advise/info.

    • @markisillmatic
      @markisillmatic 3 года назад

      I know this is late but for future reference if you’re only using 1 mic you can pan the mic to the left and just go left of main out into DJM mixer mic input. Otherwise from pioneer mixer master out 2 (RCA) you can go directly into channel 7/8 RCA input! Otherwise for multi mics get a XLR female to RCA male and go into one of the DJM RCA lines. Heaps of sound guys tell me it’s a “no no” but it works a treat and the mics don’t feedback through DJ booth monitor this way.

      Lo sentimos, hemos descubierto que hay varios mensajes publicados por personas que estuvieron ocultos durante meses. No vi esto hasta ahora. El problema de hacerlo en español es que el tipo con el que trabajamos que habla español no conoce los sistemas como yo. (Soy el Gringo que solo habla inglés). Ahora, si un cliente realmente está dispuesto a valorar nuestro tiempo, cómprenos un sistema completo, ¡estaría más que feliz de usar uno de nuestros dj españoles para hacer el video tutorial por usted! Tendríamos que enseñarle primero, luego transmite en español.

    You sure about the gain levels on your speakers? Should be at the halfway point and adjust via your mixer levels.

    • @MADPROAUDIO
      @MADPROAUDIO  8 лет назад +1

      Great comment R Reekoh. There are actually a few right YET oddly wrong positions on setting up a sound system. Many people have different opinions on what is best and I have found ESPECIALLY with powered speakers that you gauge the manufacturer, speaker, it's hissing/white noise/buzzing sounds that help figure out if the speaker can go past the traditional halfway mark. In reality, a system in my opinion should be run completely open if you can do it and I have noticed in the last year that less and less speakers run at max volume. Believe me, I have had plenty of speakers where I was able to run the amplifier or powered speaker at 100% and then adjust from the mixer. As of lately, lucky if you can run at 12 oclock position and then adjust from mixer. Yet as you seen in this video, this particular setup, I basically listened to the hissing/static/etc. type noises as I brought up the volume of the speaker with nothing playing and found the sweet spot that way. You should be able to run a Peavey speaker up to 80% of it's max volume. Yet once again, right and wrong answers exist within each other that makes the having a go to setting 100% of the time with everything virtually impossible. Example; The Peavey PVXp12 powered 12 inch speaker VS the newest Peavey Darkmatter DM112 powered speaker. Where I am comfortable running the pvx speaker at 80%, I am NOT with the DM series. Sure, you get all your monies worth with the DM series, yet I have found that I feel safe at 12 oclock/halfway position.
      Then when you look at mixers. The go to method would be to ZERO out the board and have the gains at 12 oclock, EQ all at 12 oclock, the main volume where that bold line is on the mixer (max setting-zero, or called Unity).
      Even how you have the speakers set up can effect how you run the system. Example: I ran that same system for karaoke and because the speakers were close together. I had trouble lifting the gains further because of feedback. YET when I took that same system and set the speakers up much better in the room, I had more gain to play with. Hope that all made sense.

    hi,did this mixer has vocal cut ...voice canceling?

    • @MADPROAUDIO
      @MADPROAUDIO  8 лет назад +1

      At this point, we can only assume that you may be asking if it has a vocal cancel feature for regular music to take out the vocals (many people have asked through the years to try and use regular music for karaoke).
      Typically unless you are dealing with expensive recording equipment that deals with recording several different layers, having a vocal cancel for existing music most often is more of a novel idea than practical. Example: I remember the old Numark 200fx, it had a vocal cancel and it was pretty much useless. I even remember the old pioneer karaoke player that had that feature and all it did was lower the actual vocals so that it gave a singer more ability to singer louder/over the original vocals. Most often it deteriorates the overall quality of the song and that's why a lot of these mixers, karaoke players that had such a feature was mostly a waste and not a serious solution. Hence the reason why I stated that expensive recording studios typically have the right gear for such a task. Hope that made some sense.

      Duet 2. Once again, you have me trying to guess a bit on what you are asking, lol . (All in good humor though). Are you referring to a Vocopro Duet 2 "all in one karaoke system". If so, then you would hook the outputs to the mixer and run the mics through the mixer and just use the Duet for the player only. Sorry if I am not completely understanding what you are asking for.
