Oh man, that looks great. Good to hear there’s lots of love for PS2, too. As a big PS2 collector (I’m so close to a full PAL set now that it hurts) I’m always happy to see more PS2 love.
I was at his booth about 2 weeks ago and purchased a really cool NES game and controller holder. Was super happy to find it. I always stop by his booth when in the area !

Jason questions why he doesn't offload it at a retro game convention. Pretty much the same reason diamond sellers hoard stock and pretend diamonds are rare. Guy is a reseller, let's not pretend it's a virtuous activity.
His prices are very reasonable compared to anything you'll find online. Same with Pink Gorilla and many of the other 22 retro gaming stores in the Seattle area.

I'm always so torn with people/situations like this.
On one hand, I'm furious that 'some guy' has boxes full of Funtastic N64 consoles that are marked up to premium prices and only available from one location, on his terms.
On the other hand, good chance a lot of this stuff would end up in a landfill if someone hadn't identified it and picked it up.
Yeah he is super smart. Buy in bulk. Release to the public slowly on the rarer games. Makes the prices stay the same.
Love that this guy wants to keep his store stocked with cool things to see

Stuff that’s in bins and get no fresh air gets musty. The plastic fumes also damage plastic shells and boxes. Bankers boxes allow air in and protect. Expensive but stuff stays minty. I know this from years of experience.
I use the exact same Hakko soldering station. It's really good.
Sadly enough, i live in Europe. I would love to take a peek 👀 and buy some games. And unfortunately, i'm in a wheelchair so it's not easy for me to fly out there! But man, i really need a couple of things for my retro collections. From SNES games like PLOK, to PS1 games like Music/Music 2000 & TOMBA 1 & 2 (TOMBI in Europe.) Oh, and a boxed GameBoy Color, preferable the clear purple one. I had this one in my childhood as well. Seeing all these great consoles and games in such great condition made me so happy! 😎
Resident Evil DS is my favorite Resident Evil. All of the updates make it the best version of the first one by a mile!!!

I think the fear is he'd be cleared out in a week if he sold online every day and this is a part time gig for him.

I visit the Seattle area for work with about twice a year. I visited Pink Gorilla last time because of your videos. This is awesome and I’ll definitely make the trip to find his booth on my next visit to the area.

Seeing all those PS1 games and gameboy games in one place would honestly make my heart rate go up lol. I love seeing them anytime I go to thrift shops or antique shops, but not too many show up in those places I go. I would have a hard time wanting to leave from there.

I'm a huge fan of Persona/Megaten and I'm looking to have a complete Persona (not Megaten itself, there's way too many games in that series) collection, but P2 Eternal Punishment is so rare/expensive that I'll probably never own a copy :/

Another great video! FUN FACT about that Resident Evil DS Game its actually a remake of the first Resident Evil game... BUT the twist is they mapped the knife to its own button, due to that small change it is widely considered the premier way to play that game. Also it's definitely worth well more than $40 so if you paid anywhere near that you got an excellent deal!
