This can be done either way. The first six pack is the same but the next bit can be done either to the left or right. I have one of these with a keyring on it and couldn't figure out why the hole was in a gap and not on the edge. Then realised I could do it either way and it worked.

Sorry to say this, but you went through the steps so quickly that you left this absolute beginner in the mud behind you. I couldn’t stop the playback quickly enough to follow along.
