Julius has been very tight lipped about the involvement of foreign nationals committing crimes in our country. I really wonder what is now going on in his mind when he sees on TV both the Botswana and Zimbabweans nationals implicated in this heist! I never heard his strong words against the selling of drugs by foreign nationals. He is not assisting his country to win war against drugs. Instead, he is strongly advocating for borderless SA! Our country has become a fully banana country where people come and do as they wish!

While we applaud the great bravery of the cops, we respectfully disagree with Honourable Minister alleging the nationality of the suspects to be Zimbabwean, Motswana etc, If it is true how then could they use firearms stolen from police stations. After all, how can one identify nationality or identity of a dead body. If those dead robbers where carrying their identity documents to a robbery adventure then it follows that they could win a gold medal of being the dumbest robbers in history. I think the Minister needs to prove his assertion, in a country already were there is xenophobia and stigmatisation, this is not a small issue. All that is known clearly is that there were members of SANDF and SAPS involved in this crime, roping in other countries nationalities is just not a cool thing.

@@eaglesoar1236 Look, it has become a culture and fashion in SA to blame everything on Zimbabweans. I will not be surprised one day to hear that even COVID in SA was caused by Zimbabweans. When I heard about this incident before I even listened to it , I already knew that they will obviously say it was Zimbabweans. This massive hatred, animosity and stigmatisation started when there was a rumour that the late Zim multi-millionaire Genius Ginimbi Kadungure had a flirt with a cabinet Minister's wife in SA. It does not take a rocket scientist that there is always a narrative to keep the South African public with a stereotype against Zimbabweans. Even during elections in 2024 in SA , you will hear a lot that Zimbabweans were the cause of all problems and every politician will be claiming to be the best in chasing Zims away for the electorate to vote him. And I can even challenge the Minister to prove what he is saying, its clearly a lie. There is no way a Zimbabwean can convince South African Soldiers and SAPS members to steal guns and go on to convince them to go with him to very risky robberies. Such a person would be a miracle worker and should not be arrested but rather be allowed to perform miracles like job creation etc using his miraculous powers.

@@eaglesoar1236 It doesnt add up. There was no Motswana or Zimbabwean here. Bheki Cele is desperately trying to sway attention from the rot in the SA armed forces which are part of his sphere of command in the security cluster. The Minister must just assure the South African public that the gvt will go to the bottom of the matter to find out how the SANDF and SAPS members stole guns from the armouries, and tell the public that they will tighten the security of the armouries, trying to blame Zimbabwe for the crimes of members under his command is just a classless stunt. How did he establish nationalities & identities at such a short notice while they were still to carry the dead bodies.

1 From Botswana ( Foreign National)
    11 from Zim (Foreign Nationals)
Therefore 25% SA citizens and 75% Foreigners.

If borders are tightened, SA will have less criminals to deal with.
