Supercell does not understand subtlety when buffing or nerfing cards. They probably don't even play the game.
i'm convinced they don't actually have a balance team and just randomly roll a dice

I think the best way to make cannoneer kinda good is give it splash damage, a tiny radius, so it doesn't counter spread out swarms, but big enough to counter stuff like skeleton army, bats, archers, stuff like that. A small radius of splash could be cool. But maybe it should evolve and send 12 rockets to the king tower every shot for $156 USD instead.
I think another reason for the Dart Goblin's newfound dominance in the meta could be attributed to the recent Little Prince nerfs as well, which impacted its usage greatly and allowed Dart Goblin to fill the niche of the low health high dps ranged troop in many decks

Well you say canoneer sucks and you are right but also wrong at the same time see good players know how to deal with it easily actually everyone does but here is the real power of canoneer against casual players. They just rush with swarms all the time when seeing canoneer which makes for pretty easy games sometimes it works for them but mostly i can just punish with a goblin curse or mother witch and just play an ice wizard to defend whatever they played after their spam and trust me if you can't break through with swarms the game is over cause i know anything else does not reach the tower with the new goblin curse it's amazing

It's kinda goofy then knowing that hardly anyone uses cannoneer because it's highly known that it's buns And yet they just don't do anything about it. Hell I wouldn't mind a cannoneer meta. Different meta would take place

Fellas I need to know if this is just a me problem or an issue lots of people have been facing, the last few days my events tab has had a bug where no matter what I do to my deck it always makes me play the same 8 cards. I switched to a new deck slot, swapped evolutions, disassembled and reassembled the deck and nothing works, both in 1v1 and 2v2. Anyone else got this problem?

I really don’t get why they gave the dagger duchess her two daggers back. To me, it feels like she’s supposed to be for killing swarm cards, and 6 is enough for most of them. The ones she can’t kill with six (minion hoard, skarmy, goblin gang) I feel shouldn’t get countered by 0 elixir.

I stopped playing Clash for like 1½ years, came back and just used my old Dart Goblin & Goblin Barrel deck, it still felt strong to me, my fav card 😂
imo cannoneer feels like a tower troop that's just slow but has very high dps
so it's strong against single targets, but weak against swarms
but the issue is that it doesn't even feel like it has high dps, just slow hit speed
That's what was intended but... It just sucks against everything
