I think another reason for the Dart Goblin's newfound dominance in the meta could be attributed to the recent Little Prince nerfs as well, which impacted its usage greatly and allowed Dart Goblin to fill the niche of the low health high dps ranged troop in many decks
I think the best way to make cannoneer kinda good is give it splash damage, a tiny radius, so it doesn't counter spread out swarms, but big enough to counter stuff like skeleton army, bats, archers, stuff like that. A small radius of splash could be cool. But maybe it should evolve and send 12 rockets to the king tower every shot for $156 USD instead.

I really don’t get why they gave the dagger duchess her two daggers back. To me, it feels like she’s supposed to be for killing swarm cards, and 6 is enough for most of them. The ones she can’t kill with six (minion hoard, skarmy, goblin gang) I feel shouldn’t get countered by 0 elixir.

They just rush with swarms all the time when seeing canoneer which makes for pretty easy games sometimes it works for them but mostly i can just punish with a goblin curse or mother witch and just play an ice wizard to defend whatever they played after their spam and trust me if you can't break through with swarms the game is over cause i know anything else does not reach the tower with the new goblin curse it's amazing
