What is Field Status Variant In SAP FICO
1 field status variant is a predefined set of filed statuses that control the status of fields is a screen for a particular transaction or master record in SAP
2 Field Status Variant is used to define the fields which are used for input like cost center, profit center, text, business area
3 In the SAP system, field status will have 3 options, Suppressed, Required Entry, and Optional Entry. When field status is required - you need to enter the details in that particular field. The system doesn't allow you to proceed further without entering the details in that field
