I was looking around the internet and i found a game called "the lord 13" or "the curse of 13"
this particular ritual goes by multiple names, but i'll refer to it as" the lord 13"
An urban legend that goes with this game involves disappearances of many people, usually young people from brazil in the 1980s. these people are typically young boys, although they can sometimes be of all genders. these people usually are said to be vanished following several days of odd behavior. the days the odd behavior emerged were also the days leading up to the 13th day of the month; then, on the 13th day, they disappeared with nothing but a note or letter for their loved ones. the notes all had the same words written: "ele esta em minha sombra, nao ha como se esconder" and "nao olhe no espelho, ele esta la! o homem esta la, as 3 manha e nos proximos 3 minutos a sua alma sera dele." In english, these translate to "he is in my shadow, there is no hiding," and "don't look in the mirror, it's there! the man is there at 3am and in 3 minutes his soul will be his"
For what it's worth, brazil was under an authoritarian military dictatorship from 1964 to 1985. During this era, 191 people were killed and 243 simply "disappeared." i'd be curious to know whether the legend pegged to this ritual is perhaps a reaction to this period of brazilian history.
the ritual itself is simple, but even if it's a legend, play if you want, i just thought it would be cool if i told you about it. the point of it is to perform a ritual to summon an entity whose sole purpose is to steal souls from humans. he won't collect yours if you perform it right, in that sense, it's sort of a "test your bravery game". but if anything should go wrong-? if (for example) something goes wrong, like you let the game go on for too long, let's just go with the phrase "a fate worse than death might apply". Yes, this is a dangerous game- not only because it sounds STRAIGHT UP CREEPY- vbut also because you're ricking spending your eternal afterlife burning in hell if this "thing" steals your soul.
