I say this with complete honesty, your videos are some of the best on the entire platform when it comes to vivarium builds. This is astonishingly good. I was looking at Ackie enclosure videos for researching the stuff I'd need for when I build mine, I found your Ackie enclosure and was blown away by that... this one is, once again just incredible man. You definitely deserve more views.

The attention to detail, equipment, and proper husbandry has got to be the best I've seen on RUclips. Most vivarium builders just focus on the aesthetics of the build but you take into account everything the animal will need for a healthy life and stimulation. I am currently watching all of your videos and truly hope you continue providing content such as future builds and also build updates. Also, your voiceovers and instructions are very clear and easy to follow. All around a great channel and one of the best in vivarium building!

Thank you Jack! And PVC is about 100 a sheet in the US. But after factoring in the water proofing, sealing and treatment work of plywood. And I would have used a 5ply hard wood ply wood it came out a lot cheaper. Pvc will last a long time. These are some of the things that made me 100% confident in my decision tongonwith pvc. Pluse it holds heat and humidity better.

I’d like to ask, what is your typical budget (minus the animals that go in) for these projects? I’m a poor college student at the moment, but when I get more of a place of my own to have a beautiful enclosure like this I’m curious how much it’d set me back. Over a year later, I have not noticed 1 puncture hole. I think some reasons for this are when I carved out the background, I created some ledges/pockets and the ability to use his hands in addition to his nails.

I'll update the discription and add it to the other video I made for the enclosure framework build. But you could use 1/2 to 1" plywood, melamine wood, 1/2 pvc board. I have some of the materials I used in the discription (glass track etc)

Is this a good size for a single adult emerald tree monitor or do you have to go larger for an adult?

My opinion, it's a great size. But larger can always be better. Some people go 4w2d6h to save on floor space. I like the 6w2d4h on a stand to give the height they would be looking for and a little extra width. If I had a pair, I would cohab them. But have a separate enclose after breeding to separate for a few weeks.

I do not have experience with this yet. I would check out a Facebook tree monitor group and get some feedback from people with experience.
