It was a fair exchange, plus you were not forced down meta weapon paths or builds you could actually have fun with your load outs. Everything used to be overpowered so nothing was...then they started nerfing and nerfing and nerfing and then the game became tedious instead of challenging. I also have a major issue with their greed, they have gotten increasingly greedy as time goes on new items have been pay walled rather than just armor and guns you now have to open your wallet if you want to engage with any new content. Not only that on two different occasions I have spent money on a warbond only for those items within that warbond to be nerfed weeks later, I noticed they intentionally release warbonds with insanely good stuff only to nerf it right before releasing another warbond and that's around the time I refused to give them anymore of my money. I hate to say it, but Arrowhead is exactly like every other company it's profits above literally everything else.

In the European theater, medics lose their protected status should they engage in combat or fire weapons offensively. In the Pacific and Eastern theaters, this was largely ignored. The Pacific especially had medics targeted for the value of keeping the other soldiers alive.
The bigger problem in the middle east is that Islamic terror groups exploit the notion that the west will adhere, and disguise soldiers as medics. Sane as they run operations out of mosques, schools, and hospitals, and dig tunnels beneath religious sites and cemeteries.
To add to this ive watched documentaries and read books that agree to this. In the European theatre medics would make sure to have the cross shown cause it was a silent agreement that if you shoot our medics we will shoot yours. In the pacific theatre the medics would hide the crosses because it was a cross hair and a magnet. So yes there were some axis soldiers that would kill medics but the worst that your thinking about was in the pacific theatre

Yep, while medics being killed or injured is a reality of war in some fronts including the Pacific the Japanese outright targeted medics even if they didn’t carry a weapon. They were simply seen as valuable targets (which they are). This resulted in medics getting rid of any symbols or words that indicated they were medics.
