Here is our Fratris/Sororis custom horn tested by Cooper, thank you David.
We like to finish a horn up to the leadpipe then find the best leadpipe for our customers. We have 3 different tapers and 2 alloys and as you know the right leadpipe makes a lot of difference in how a horn plays. The different tapers allows us to truly customize how a horn plays. If a customer needs help in the high register, we got that, more slotted notes, we got that, overall playability, we got that. Fine tuning a leadpipe to match the player’s needs and preferences is crucial.
