I am disabled with Cerebral Palsy and in a wheelchair myself and even I know how to work a wheelchair lift and it amazes me that the bus driver and bus aide didn't know how to operate the lift's backup system awesome job to his classmate and friend
I rife a special needs bus and we had something like this happen on our bus last School year and the wheelchair lift wouldn't work swtiches we're turned on bus was on handicapped mode and it just wouldn't work. Bit luckily our bus driver and our bus aide knew how to work it manually. I'm grateful that we have these kinds of back up features just incase something like this is to happen.

What should a cold day that day? I heard that a couple wheelchair lifts will not work too well on cold days.
