      APD!!!! It makes me beam to hear that phrase as someone who for so long felt like I had that without anyone telling me, and learned just a few weeks ago that I really did have it... Just the amount that it felt like I had to focus on what people were saying so I could hear them, felt off, and I felt like it was more than just being deaf, and...-- Sorry, I'm just so happy to hear that term. The way you hear someone sound when you haven't actively focused on their words is so, unique, and hard to comprehend, like a vague idea of a painting in your head, where most of the details can't be seen...

      @donovanfaust3227 4 месяца назад +17

      I guess if you zone out a lot it's good to have many different excuses ready but at that point you might need to have a conversation with your doctor or if you've already been diagnosed try being open about your particular attention disorder. I think the easier option most of the time is to just admit you zoned out for a second. Seeing how it's a pretty universal feeling, most people are usually understanding if you ask them to repeat a question. Heck you don't even need to mention that you zoned out most of the time just a simple, "I'm sorry, could you repeat the question? " will do. But yes these are all fine options as well.

      @@donovanfaust3227 i see what you are saying. So from a point of personal experiance, i have had that cause me to lose multiple opportunities in the job place. Usually do to the "higher ups" typically being from the older generation who still thinks adhd,add, depresion, bipolar, and ect is a lack of discipline not an actual issue you struggle with. Of course ive seen people who are of the same issues, and even thoughs of our younder generations are more understanding. The situation definitely depends on alot of factors. (I have alot of these and later ptsd to boot) but yea, you are right. If you havent, talk to a doctor. If they say you need medication, it is ultimately your choice, dont let them decide for you. Often times studying yourself and other helps alot (i do better overall with music in my ear, though i have to break rules to do so). The main thing is accepting that you may have an issue, and instead of fighting/downing it or yourself figure out what works best for you

    Well then. That happened. I do wonder how she’s going to react when other survivors show up; because there are almost certainly other survivors. Humanity has a penchant for having the unlikeliest of circumstances happen. Not to mention engaging a world-wide distribution system is going to either have flaws and timing issues from being so complex and hidden; or it’s going be more a “I spiked the ocean” at which point it could be a while for some parts to be infected.
    That all aside, on a whim, I have come up with an idea to rate this yandere. Scale of 1-10, 1 being this trait is boarderline/completely absent, 5 being human average, and 10 being abnormally high.
    Devotion 5/10; she loves the concept/idea of us, not us specifically. This is shown in how little time she spends trying to convince us, and how much time she expends explaining why. Clearly she does like us, else this wouldn’t have happened, but she doesn’t like us enough to try and make us see it her way before going straight to indoctrination/confinement tactics.
    Affection 6/10, clearly affection in the emotions reflected in her voice when she was describing the happy times; though she wasn’t so giddy as to distract herself. She seemed to express a desire for more physical and attention based affections, and didn’t seem to care about and mental stimulation beyond those.
    Scale is a bit different from this last one, still 1 to 10, but 1 is inhumanly apathetic and 10 is inhumanly passionate/emotional (5 still being human average.) basically for our last category: Derangement, it more about what caused them to think this is was a logical solution.
    As four our lovely Horsewoman of the Apocalypse her Derangement is almost certainly a 1/10; this is fine because she felt almost complete apathy for the world around her, or at least the people in it. If she cared at all, it seems likely she would mark herself as a killer, given how emotional killing is. The fact that she didn’t call it hunting either shows how little she cares about others. From my understanding (mostly from crime shows admittedly) A killer kills those who are like them (a person killing a person), a hunter hunts those beneath them (a human and an animal), and a person is someone who has killed things generally beneath notice (a human and insects.) from what we’ve seen, and by her own self admission, she is a person, and to her, is not a killer.
    All told this culminates to a final rating of: *drum roll*
    The One Thread of the Psychopath! For whatever reason, in a world otherwise devoid of emotion, you are the one exception; the only one capable of bringing joy. And so only you matter; and in this instance specifically; only your presence matters.
    Weird rating whim aside; thank you for the interesting audio, and have a good day!

    Scissac was pick when they both slep at Melissa's bed foot, I shall never tell how many times I rewatched that scene just for Isaac's pout
    Also Isaac was always done so dirty... the poor kid was just rejected whenever someone was in a mood or something else to do.... like... maybe make an effort people? Its not like this kid was abused all his life by his father and he had to kill him to finally get out, it's not like he doesn't have any trauma regarding guardians and family figures and definitely doesn't have any rejection trauma
