Today I reworked as much of Super Mario 64 textures into Minecraft textures! I managed to work on Peach Castle, Whomp's fortress, and Bowser in the sky turning them all into Minecraft levels!

The sky box has such an awkward shape so they can wrap it, as well as possible given the hardware and process, into a somewhat hemispheric shape around the world. What you were looking at is the unwrapped tiles of the sky box texture

Alright, the retexturing of Bowser in the sky was, unironically, definitely an upgrade.
Yeah it actually looks pretty nice lol. Even the terracotta arrows look better than the original arrows
I think what makes this so charming and funny is the fact that it's delightfully low-res graphics born from technical limitations swapped out for delightfully low-res graphics born from aesthetic choices. Plus the mob faces slapped onto the enemies. I love it

There’s a bit of a missed opportunity, the elytra wings physics were inspired by the wing hat from super Mario 64
U should’ve made the wings elytra wings instead of pickaxes

The TNT really should've been End Crystals, but this is phenomenal

you should have made the pickaxe hat sn elytra since not only is it the actual inspiration for the elytra, but you also got it from the supposed "end"
This would actually be really fun to mess with. The current Minecraft texture we have for PC part is a little aged. Maybe you could join the PC port server, I’m sure people would love to get their hands on this.

That was fun. If you do more work on this, might i suggest reskinning the Chuckyas as the Wither? (since you replaced its hands with heads)
