This is an incredible project and how fortunate you are to have such an impressively equipped workshop. I’d love to see the books in the chest for closure lol
Yeah slight oversight on my part, don't actually have any 'good' pics with the books. Here's what I've found: www.reddit.com/r/crafts/comments/1fhe3gm/comment/lna6w19/?
As a long time Tolkien fan myself I appreciate all the details and craftsmanship that went into this piece. Definitely a labor of love and turned out amazing! Great job!
One last touch -- Empty the chest, close it, roll it down a flight of concrete stairs and whack it about with a length of chain for about 15 minutes. Then rub a tiny bit of your aging liquid in the dents and gouges in the wood. Dwarves were rough and tough. Their artifacts would look the part.
Ngl, rebrand is lit and editing still incredible 🔥
