I can already tell who was one of his favorite singers. Not only Uncle Charlie but the late great Donny Hathaway.

9 years later and most nights I jam this , sing it until I get the anxieties out of me.
    Just look around 🎵
    Love is pouring down 🎵
    Trust in God 🎵
    Riffing now

Let's not forget this was recorded back in the mid-80s, before digital pianos were affordable and commonplace. Back having to play music on an out-of-tune piano was a common occurrence at most churches and performance venues, when hiring a professional piano technician was(and still is in some cases) a costly investment. But a real singer never let's it faze them. Sing Aaron.

I think Mr Hall is highly under appreciated. He got that pain in him. One of the best I ever heard. A true inspiration.

Sang, Aaron! That's all right. You're another one who's gifted from birth.

One of my favourite singers. Voice too good for secular music.

If people never had a genre for music, this would still have the same message

He sounds like a cross between Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, and Charlie Wilson.

I just listened to it and you're exactly right. He picked the right person to pattern himself after. Not too many people are that gifted. Aaron was definitely one of those elite male vocals of the 90's.

That off key piano is taking away from the whole performance.
