How do you guys think that album would've sounded?? I like to think some of it would be a mix between Justified and JC's album released around the same time (Some of his songs with Alex G were pretty reminiscent of NSYNC)
Thank you for sharing this, it's such rare footage. I always wished we would've gotten another NSYNC album in 2004/5 but ig it wasn't meant to be. It's still so cool to go back to this era. So many what ifs...
At this event is where Justin told the guys that he was leaving............ oh and jc wanted to continue without Justin But Chris said it wouldn’t be the same without him
We already knew the answer by Justin’s response. “We’ll get to the business stuff and go from there” uhhh yeah, if the answer was yes he would have said something like, “ we will get to talking about some new stuff.” The fact that he used the word “business” shows he already knew it wasn’t going to happen and his mind was made up. I love Justin but this angers me. These were his brothers and they deserved better than that. It’s like taking your girlfriend on a trip for the weekend cause you feel guilty since you know you are just going to end the fun by breaking up with her when the trips over. Heartless. But that’s why Justin was so successful I guess because he put business over loyalty.
he put branching out into new territory and making the music that he wanted to make over staying in a boyband that would’ve only lasted so long anyway. can y’all stop acting like people in groups don’t eventually go solo all the time.
Maybe doing the national anthem with them before revealing it was over was wrong, but there's nothing wrong with him leaving the band to make his own music. He's not obligated to stay with them forever to carry their careers. An artist can make whatever art they want, with others or by themselves.
@livehead16 do you have video of the interview when the phrase "indefinite hiatus" is used? I think it's after the CFTC and I think Justin may have been who said it
The album that never happened 😭
*sigh* that's the hardest thing about watching footage from this era.

Because Justin told them during this event that he was leaving
He should’ve stuck to bubblegum NSYNC Pop. He didn’t have what it took to pull off R&B.
@@carlaconnor8347The record sales say otherwise.

I remember being so excited that there was word a new album was coming, and then it never happened
4:43 it went down, literally, on Monday.

Where do you get these two facts from?
@@lelidawi2446Lance Bass’s book “Out of Sync”
2:39 - and 16 years going on 17 years later and still no Nsync album.
At this point I say 2025 :D
I was there that weekend!
Rare
Wow, this is so 2004.
lindsay and wilmer, before she became a train wreck, lol.
And RUclips wasn't even a thing yet.

did you expect him to stay in a boyband and till he dies???? don’t be dense likeeeee

Yea he’s a prick for how he handled the group, Britney, Janet etc. never respected him for that

That does not ring a bell, unfortunately. I didn't have much from this event.
