The amount of times I worked while sick is insane. At my store we only have two people who restock and the rest are managers or cashiers during night shift at my store it's a cashier and a manager and that's it. Dollar tree can also get very busy so cashiers are supposed to help restock but we can't because we get slammed with customers. So before you say bullshit before actually understanding how it is and working there then keep your thoughts to yourself.😊
Growing up, every time my sister and I went to the grocery store with my Dad he would stop in the candy aisle, open a bag of Tootsie Roll loliops and give us each a lollipop. He’d then put the bag in the cart and pay for it at checkout.Cant talk or go nuts when you have a lollipop 🤷🏻♀️

Yep, they're popular - a lot of birthday parties means a lot of germs. I'm aware that you probably mean the toddler mouthing a toy. That's pretty much universal. As is being sick when you have that many kids. It's not really so deep.
Remember, "sustainably made" doesn't mean eco friendly. It just means they've put some effort, and we don't know how much, into minimising the impact of their production process - not the product. They're still plastic bags that likely won't be recyled, so will stay on the planet for a very long time. Try not to stress on it, just bear it in mind as you go forward and make decisions based on product packaging. Greenwashing is very real. Keep on keeping on! ❤
One thing i have to say as a dollar tree employee, most of the time those carts are there because management is doing their best to put the stuff away. They also have to come to the register as backup cashier, grab any change your drawer needs from the office, and manage to get enough of those U-boats (yes that's what theyre called) put away that the DM doesn't threaten to write them up. Nonetheless you're still doing a brilliant job as a father.
Cheap bamboo toothbrushes have really rough bristles, which hurt the teeth enamel. Please buy better ones. Sincerely, ive been suffering since 40 years.
Wow... you were brave to take 3 kids to the DT. I took my 3-year-old grandson there once. I Went down the toy section. He started putting almost every toy in my cart. You can imagine what it was like when I started to put them back 😮. NEVER AGAIN WILL I TAKE A CHILD TO THE DT.

For a busy Dad, U would do better with gift bags, rather than the wrapping paper. It’s thin & ribs. Put the gift in a bag, get a piece of tissue paper & poke it in the bag. Just thought it might help.

If your store is constantly cluttered with those "boats" the carts that the boxes are on, yeah that means the workers arent doing their job right. It only happens when they dont put all the boxes, they unloaded from the truck, away. Its just lazy workers
Dollar Tree has a day they deliver. Find out what that day is and go the day after. They might have had a chance to shelf things. Plus the shelves will be more full of fresh new things. Wait two days and there’s a better chance of less unshelved things but also a higher possibility of rifled through shelves.

Their baby stuff is great. I needed diaper rash cream once and instead of paying $12 I went to dollar tree got the diaper rash cream same exact ingredient $1.25. Also they have baby wipes and those squeeze fruit silicone tube things. I also get hair detangler there for my older girls and hair accessories, q tips, their aquaphor knockoff, makeup for myself and skincare stuff and hair products. I love five below also for bigger purchases. Recently got a boogie board, $5 folding foam beach mat I use literally everywhere even at home instead of play mat for my baby, and my daughter got herself tons of stitch character items like a backpack for school just for fun, earrings and necklace and a blanket and room poster since she’s obsessed with stitch. Also both places are a go to for gift cards, dollar tree balloons too.
i worked at family dollar and its an osha violation to have the "U-boats" on the floor and also blocking product if we had a U-boat on the floor it was bc we were clearing it off and taking it to the back to reload tmrw but they do it at the dollar stores by me too. btw family dollar and dollar tree r owned by the same parent company
Same thing here in Central Georgia with the dollar general. Isles always blocked shelves not stocked employees nowhere to be seen. Self checkout doesn't always work. Some DG restrooms are not for public use. Ppl steal and also destroy(clogging the toilet)the restroom privilege for everyone. Ppl would also use the restrooms to steal items or to do other things(drugs and inappropriate things).

I used to work there too and usually it's only the assistant manager stocking shelves. Like God forbid they get a stock person for the day.
