Wonderful scenery. That looks a wonderful walk for a fine day. I would never have known it was there and you have come across some beautiful walks. Have a good weekend. Warm greetings, Julie.
What a fabulous walk; pretty much a little of everything that Cornwall has to offer. Rugged coastline, a beautiful cove, enchanting woods, waterfalls, and farmland footpaths. Stunning scenery and amusing, or course, throughout. Well done Sarah and Andrew, and big thank you.
We did this a few weeks ago when we were down there, thank you for showing it to us and what a gem of a place, great to get away from the crowds and chill, as you say, just drink it all in :-) mindfulness at its best.
Some places just resonate. They have a special atmosphere; an aura. That whole area with the cliffs, the waterfalls, the mill, the river valley and the sunken lanes looks magical. Thank you for sharing such an evocative part of the county. I will put the rocky valley on the itinerary for our spring visit to Cornwall.
Love this area, used to do the coastal walk from Tintagel to Boscastle with my daughter, hard going in places but rewarded with a cream tea in Boscastle, heaven. Thanks.
Well what do I say “ absolutely wonderful” loved the scenery and enjoyed your commentary. It just has everything. You both have a knack to both amuse and educate at the same time. 10/10 for me. Thank you.......
If they're authentic, that would be pretty cool - love the Celtic stuff. For me that was a 10/10, but I could see the cost being a bit of a downer for some :)
The symbol that you. Mention is actually the symbol of Elen of the ways she was an ancient goddess of reindeer and the trackways and of shamans.I have studied quite a bit of the mythology of ancient England,Wales and Ireland
Lovely walk, very varied with coast, valley and fields. - the cliffs between Tintagel and Boscastle are stunning and Rocky Valley itself is magical - I discovered it by chance about 30 years ago, one of my favourite places! Glad you've discovered it!
@@CornishWalkingTrails Hi, yes, good question. I doubt that they're Bronze Age - too well preserved. Iron Age Celtic is more likely, but even more likely is that they're more recent - maybe contemporary with the mill. There are stone and turf labyrinths on the Isles of Scilly the oldest of which is supposed to be from the 1700s. Incidentally you should do some Scilly walks! Not only is it beautiful, there's plenty of scope for some bad puns!
That's a lovely walk..... really varied... A little bit of everything. Coast, valley, architecture, history....think I might pass on the waterfall though at £12. 😬 Gotta watch those piles though Andrew.!! 👍❤
Wow!! This walk seems absolutely gorgeous!! My husband and I loved Tintagel when we visited Cornwall 2 years ago and this walk will be going on the list for our next visit!! Thank you guys for creating such fun, informative, relaxing and enjoyable content on your channel ❤️
£1 all day! That unbelievable never mid reasonable, I wish we had car parks like this Up North. What a gorgeous walk along the coast and nice that you had to follow the river, which looked real relaxing. I love a money tree and they are all over the lakes. The waterfall was great and nice bit of background information, which added to the spectacle. Stingy with your scores I think, a strong 9 for me, cheers Alan
Beautiful, we stay at Trewethett Farm Caravan club site such a beautiful place to stay and visit the wonders of Cornwall, have you done the coastal path from Rocky Valley to Boscastle passing Ladies Window on your way, you probably have but if not its worth a look.
How lovely Rocky Valley is. I am sorry we missed it on our way to Tintagel in 2017. It was raining and foggy and the phone (and then my map app with gps) failed for a while due to my wet pocket. And I didn't quite know where to find the path to the valley. Now I have seen it here in this video. Thank you. Torunn 😀
@@CornishWalkingTrails We were also quite upset and distressed due to some intense searching by helicopter for a missing teenager in the area when we were passing, so it was an eerie feeling. And we just wanted to continue our walk to Tintagel and get dry and just hope for the poor boy to be found. It turned out he is still missing since those days in 2017. Torunn.
Still no sound! So watched this totally in silence and had to guess at what you were saying.....and no doubt missed a lot of jokes along the way from Andrew! Long walk....beautiful scenery. Random stranger got in on the filming I see, plus a creepy crawly on the money tree and finished off with a very appropriate black cat for this lovely magical area! Great stuff...just wish I could have heard it! :-))
Oh you poor thing! We have had to buy a new computer (my pocket is hurting!) Our 9 yr old one finally died and it has taken me a while to get the new one working - all the logins and passwords!!! Sarah :)
Hello, Sarah and Andrew! Gorgeous scenery and that waterfall is just so relaxing . What an interesting story behind the waterfall location ! Are you planning a Christmas walk this year?? I sure hope so😁 Lyla sends the fur boys her regards, lol and I send much happiness your way, Lori
We are debating about the location of our Christmas walk or video! I really don't think we will be able to top Fowey from last year - that was totally bonkers! Say "Hi!' to Lyla! Our older bot is getting to be a 'grumpy old man' and will only walk when he wants to and at a pace that he wants, bless him! Sarah :)
We stayed in one of the cottages at Halgabron Farm a few years ago. We did part of the walk you did but in the opposite direction. We didn't visit the waterfall - there comes a point where I refuse to get ripped off any more, what with expensive car parks, expensive ice creams and pasties and outrageous crab sandwiches (£11 in St Ives this year).
Great video, thanks. That valley is gorgeous. Two thoughts - what did you do with your jackets, the backpack doesn't look big enough to have both of them in there - and have you ever thought of getting walking poles to help with the uneven ground
I expect someone has already written this but.... The Butts is the area of land set apart for archery practice. We are in Somerset and have a street called The Butts too.
Hello. Another great video! I understand that there is a public footpath in the Cober Valley that can be accessed from Truthall Halt railway station on the recently restored Helston steam railway. Any chance of a video showing this (the walk and the railway in action)??
We will have to look into this to find out when it is running etc so maybe! We have filmed all of our videos to mid December now so probably next year, Sarah :)
Such a magical and spiritual place ❣All this green, the sound of the water and this kind of hidden.... LOVELY. What was the "wooden little church" at 14:57 for ...looked like something from "The Hobbit" ?? Thank you for this amazing walk. ( Nice to hear you have met someone from the Rheinland and helped him🤗) 💟💟💟 P.S. Did the gargoyle subscribe......
Really lovely spot! The cabin at 14:57 is used as a wedding arbour. It is really cute isn't it? You are not allowed inside, they have roped it off unfortunately. We will look out for the 'Gargoyle'!! LOL! Sarah :)
what a beautiful walk! The sound of the waterfalls...I WANNA BE THERE!
My absolute favorite walk in the world. Soon to be my forever home. Can’t wait. x
I'm going to have to take a trip sometime and go visit some of these lovely places.
Watching with Amazement very nice episode thanks Sarah and Andrew
Cheers Dave. Thanks for watching, a great place to take a walk, Sarah :)
Wonderful scenery. That looks a wonderful walk for a fine day. I would never have known it was there and you have come across some beautiful walks. Have a good weekend. Warm greetings, Julie.
Hi Julie, We are very lucky to have a County of such diversity that allows us to show so many different things, Sarah :)
Most Excellent very watchable Cornish walks
What a fabulous walk; pretty much a little of everything that Cornwall has to offer. Rugged coastline, a beautiful cove, enchanting woods, waterfalls, and farmland footpaths. Stunning scenery and amusing, or course, throughout. Well done Sarah and Andrew, and big thank you.
Really glad you enjoyed this! We had a fun day, with a new walk and not visited this area before, Sarah :)
My favourite place to eat a pasty, Rocky Valley on the edge watching the sea!
We do this walk the other way round! Our favourite walk ❤
I’ll love the little church. I think you two are the sweetest couple on RUclips.
Thank you! Sarah :)

It really is! Wonderful place! Sarah :)
Thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful scenery on this walk! Stunning, rugged yet peaceful.
Beautiful valley of complete contrasts with some stunning views, Sarah :)
We found The Rocky Valley while walking from Boscastle to Tintagel, stunning walk.
Some places just resonate. They have a special atmosphere; an aura.

Great comment, as usual! A wonderful place - I think it is my 'zen' place! Sarah :)

Sounds great! Sarah :)
Gorgeous. Loved the houses you featured. Very enjoyable. Made my day.👍👍
That's great! brilliant! I love the little white one - so cute! Sarah :)

Stunning! A little bit of everything on this walk, and those waterfalls, gorgeous.
A walk of contrasts and I am still not sure about the labyrinths! Sarah :)
If they're authentic, that would be pretty cool - love the Celtic stuff. For me that was a 10/10, but I could see the cost being a bit of a downer for some :)
MAGICAL!!!
Totally addicted to your channel 👏👌😁Huge Thanks !
Happy to hear that! Sarah :)
This place is so magical.love it there .💕🙏
I love this walk. Beautiful!
Me too! Sarah :)
Nice not done this one, pencilled in for next year, beautifully presented as always.
I don't think you will be disappointed! Watch next week for the St Nectan's Glen video. Great walk that I intend to do again, Sarah :)
Lovely scenery, one to go to when we visit. Thanks for sharing
Lovely walk you two. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Hi! So, what's your take on the labyrinth carvings? I am guessing you already knew about them ...? Sarah :)

Hi Vicki, We will be venturing to the waterfall on Friday .... Sarah :)
Hi guys, I love watching your interesting videos of your amazing walking trails, the both of you come up with such beautiful scenery, awesome
Awhhh! Thank you! But I think Cornwall certainly has a hand in it! Sarah :)
Living on the edge and walking under cows Andrew?!?!🤣
Lovely circular walk, nice taking in both coastal and inland views, thanks for sharing😎👍💕

Hi there and thank you for your comment! Sarah :)
Sharing this ! So lovely. Just what type of walk I would love to do. Thank you👍🏻. What a blessing to see this glorious view everywhere you go.
It's a beautiful place! Sarah :)
Hellow. Wonderful place
Thank you! Sarah :)
A girl cow? I think you'll find that ALL the cows are girls. ha ha. Love your videos guys. keep em coming.
Lovely walk 🥾

Hi Alan, Yes the scenery certainly deserved a 10/10 but we were not so keen on the map in the book, so the instructions got an 8! Sarah :)

No, not yet! Sounds intriguing! Sarah :)

@@CornishWalkingTrails You guessed right, I can buy a fresh dressed Cromer crab for £4.95 here in Norfolk.
Great video, thanks. That valley is gorgeous.
Two thoughts - what did you do with your jackets, the backpack doesn't look big enough to have both of them in there - and have you ever thought of getting walking poles to help with the uneven ground
Yes, the backpack sure is big enough and as for poles, we are usually carrying a lot of equipment and I think they would just get in the way! Sarah :)

Where would we find the waterfall that's in this video at 3.40
We are in Mullion in June and want to spend a day in tintag, any help would be great
The labyrinths were only 'discovered' in 1948 - unlikely to be bronze age.
