Aww, I identify with our leading lady a little bit. I tend to be a bit clumsy, well I was when I was younger and would be teased about it and I HATED it. My family didnt mean to hurt me, but when my mum would talk about it in front of family friends and they all had a giggle about it, it hurt and it has left a lasting mark in my 'heart'. As if it's not bad enough being clumsy, having people point it out and laugh about it, it really can hurt. So hearing our leading lady experiencing that made me feel close to her.
Oh that’s good to hear. I can relate too. I can be a bit clumsy, or forgetful 🤦🏻♀️ you’re not alone! But I’m sorry you’ve been hurt by teasing. Everyone has their own struggles. I know that you are made by God and loved 🥰
I drop things on a regular basis, so I can relate in a way. I think it might be from whip lash car injuries, who knows. Maybe the point is we’re all human and imperfect. We all should love one another!
My niece was a clumsy teenager. It was then discovered she had a brain tumor and she was told she'd have to learn to walk again after it's removal. She came out of surgery able to walk with no trouble. Apparently she had adjusted throughout her teen years. Obviously, that's not the usual cause for clumsiness, thank heavens.
Another good listen💕 I have to admit I was very skeptical at first. When I was single, the thought of my sister’s exes would have been abhorrent to me😂 Saying that, the context of that title within the storyline, ended up not being weird at all. And every time I read a comment saying someone can’t get past the AI voice, and that it ruins the book, I can hear Anne of Green Gables saying that people have, “No scope for imagination.” Negative RUclips comments may not be the appropriate context for that quote, but that’s just what comes to mind.😅
Thank you for sharing. I have no issue with the AI (and I have a concussive brain injury currently and a lot irritates my brain); I appreciate you sharing your talent. I sympathize with the heroine. It’s hard to be the odd one out in a world of couples and better to enjoy a life on your own than wait. But then you meet someone out of the blue. This was a relatable story and I was glad when they made their own HEA; however, I questioned how this could be called a Christian romance when there was so much judgement, not only of Deacon but also when she wondered if her family would ever accept her again if they found her accepting of Deacon. So not examples of the fruit of the spirit and contrary to the instruction to “judge not lest you be judged”. Just my two cents.
AI makes a good book just so so or even too hard to listen to, real people narrating just make books that much better. I will give this a try but after a bit of time AI is just too much to finish.
Thank you for posting your novel! Very sweet, clean Christian romance! An observation about the narration: natural inflection is missing mainly with pronouns in comparision dialog.
I enjoyed the sweet, faith filled story, but I also found the electronic glitches, screeches, and the“asterisks, asterisks, asterisks” jarring. I recently did Beta reading for a book and it had “3 asterisks” covering the blank pages that needed to be deleted. . Perhaps that’s part of what’s happening here?
It just keeps glitching, electronic noises, and voice screeches at times and it says Asterix, Asterix, Asterix ALOT!! It WAS interesting but I just can't finish. It's giving me a headache
Very sweet story. Forgiveness is the key to happiness. Thank you for sharing.
The way you describe the settings makes them come alive in my imagination 😍

She was too far with family loyalty I think especially when the guy was not at fault. Good book.
