Hey Martin. It would be cool if you made a video about terms for relatives. Today, we "Balkan Albanians" almost exclusively use Turkish terms for aunt, uncle, etc. I once read that the Arberesh have "indigenous" terms for family members. Would be interesting for us "Balkan Albanians".

Hi, we have done that. ruclips.net/video/4YnHf5OBw-A/видео.html
09:32 @Martin Di Maggio You're correct in your interpretation. I speak a dialect similar to the dialect of Tropoje, and Ksule is a hood, never a hat. See the Albanian translation of "the little red riding hood" which is ksul kuqja in Albanian.
06:40 Pasquale Ricetta, we also say tierqi for pants. But only for our traditional northern Albanian wool pants. The white ones with a black stripe on the sides.

@ seeing as Arberesh have a lot of loan words from Italian and that the Arberesh population came from the other side of the Adriatic. Yes. I respect that your population has kept the language to the best of their ability (especially considering the time that has passed since your migration), but it has had a lot of influence from their current surrounding and has diverged considerably from Gegë, which is arguably the oldest Albanian tongue. Shqipë is the language. Those other terms (Albanian, Arberesh, Arvanite, Arber, Arnaut) are just ethnic identifiers which all point to Albanian. Or as we Albanians say...Shqiptarë.
