You crack me up!! The junk just floats to me! Lol! Love it! Build a big she shed at your new place and take it with you..you have the best junk and all I could think was she said it was messy..where? Lol! This is the neatest messy I have ever seen.
Julie, if anybody can handle two houses that are states apart, four children/teens, sports, resale, moving and still having time for you, IT'S YOU!!!!! I love all of your stuff. You are so talented and so energetic!!!! I love seeing the things you come up with. Stay you and know that WE ALL with be here with you through everything!!!!!
Julie, You’ll be re-selling again as soon as you get situated. It’s in your blood with creativity. Your an artist !!!!! Just wish you shipped. No matter what you do your subscribers will follow and encourage you . 🌸. You are a sweetheart!
We might be related. :/ We have some very similar piles, all over the house and the barns! :| Yours might be more organized, though. My kids will want to kill me if I die before I go through our junk! 😬
Omg child!! Can you imagine how much money you could make with all those projects completed?!! You are too funny - “now we are “those” people”. Your shop is AMAZING! As well as your view! What do your kiddos think about relocating? Best of luck in MS! I know you will become well known there as well!
I’m going to get my husband to watch this video. He staggers at the amount of hoard I keep in my crafts. He needs to understand I’m not alone in my world of makeovers lol
Julie, I love the honesty of you in this video...All we normally see are these pristine videos where you're flipping, or even cutting or sanding, etc and could never have imagined that was where you filmed so much at...just proves to me that you are a human just like us and have a lot of the same issues. I'm so excited to see where you go from here...love and hugs from Susan in Florida :)
Oh my gosh I couldn't leave that house!! You're on the water, so much space, so.....ugh...can't think....BUT I understand the need to move to closer to the husband's work; I had to do it. But oh man....that house is amazing!!! I do look forward to seeing how you decorate the new place :) Yes, I'm still thinking about the summer kitchen, two attics, water, swimming, blah, blah, blah.....
If you are using the garage for a work shop, store up! That means use the upper portion of the garage for storage, all your wood will fit there! Our neighbour is a wood worker and he built a loft in the one car garage and you won't believe what they have stored up there! Set a dedicated space to keep most of your tools but have an area where you can open out a work table and fold it back up for when it isn't in use. Who are you kidding that you aren't going to be reselling? lol
Julie, grab as much of the wood dust....put it in a large black garbage bag and dump the paint in it. The wood shavings and dust will act like kitty litter and absorb the paint. We build furniture and I collect lots of paint and that's how I dispose of it. You're awesome, and good luck!
I feel so much better about my craft hoard. We moved from Washington to Arizona 1.5 years ago and it was hard. I can't imagine moving all that wood too. I love how neat and tidy your husband's space is. Organized is what I want to be when I grow up.
Hi Julie! I had a similar situation - last year we moved from CA to FL. Yes, I had a HUGE yard sale BUT first I had a "pre-sale" for my other vendor/reseller/flip friends. We had pizza and drinks and I sold a TON. (Literally $1000's) Here is why I did it - would someone pay $12 for an opened can of chalk paint at a yard sale? NO! But my vendor friends knew that it was a $35 can of paint and $12 was a deal. At a regular yard sale...they would want to give you $1 or less!!! Also, other flippers would pay for what seems like "junk" to regular yard sale goers. Have a presale and it is a win/win for you and your fellow flippers!!! Then I had the regular yard sale the next day and did well too...but not as well as the pre-sale!
Now that is quite the collection of treasures! So jealous of all your work space. Really love watching your videos, so thankful that you will continue to create for us!
I hope you can keep this house- it is awesome for summer fun! Love the outside kitchen- maybe u can rent that part out for extra income? Best of luck with your move!
Loved "I didn't like my chairs so I cut them up!"🤣❤ Julie I love that you're so transparent! Yes... I am overwhelmed for you because I've had to move so many times in my life but...I'm sure so many other viewers agree that all your stuff and unfinished projects just makes us feel normal!😂 I'm constantly frustrated with myself trying to complete projects so your tour just made me feel like there's other people out there just like me! 😉Looking forward to watching you create new spaces in your new home it will be a fun adventure for you and for us! Love your videos and wish you the best!❤
I loved your tour!! I am sooo impressed with your organization! You definitely get 23 hours &56 minutes out of every day!!!😳😳😬😬 I’m actually “relaxed” by your calm, humorous attitude about all you’ve got going on!!! Augh to be young again!!🤣🤣❤️❤️
Wow, I know it’s gonna be hard for you to leave so much. But I know you can be happy wherever life takes you as long as you are with people you love.❤️❤️❤️
My brother in law lives in Louisiana right on the Bayou. My husband was just there visiting him a month ago! It is just beautiful! I have a 4th bedroom that is my junk room for crafting, floor to ceiling shelves PACKED with things. We won't even talk about our basement, my husband gets so upset with me! Lol. I too have a picture frame problem. I'm going to miss Wren's room, I just love what you did with the ceiling and her decor. Can't wait to see you decorate your new home!
Here they say, open the can's of paint and let it dry out, then on our 'heavy' trash days, we can set them out, and they pick them up. Wow! You have a ton of space, but you are right the more space you have they more you fill it up. Thanks for showing us around.
Thank you very much for giving us this tour, Julie. I moved two houses and combined them into a new home, what a job!!! It was 3 years ago and I’ve already filled my new home with craft projects that I need to start and finish. Wish you the very best purging and selling your items. Looking forward to catching up with you, when you settle in your new home, I do love your enthusiasm!!!!! Diane
Open paint cans. Let paint dry completely solid. Then they are okay to toss in the trash legally. 😊. When we moved our two garage sale weekends were 90 plus degrees and rainy and we were stuck with all our stuff. We gave away about 20 car and truck loads of stuff to Goodwill, Restore and friends when we moved after 30 years in our Victorian house. It had a 2 story carriage barn with a big shop built onto. It was FULL of “projects”. It felt Sooooo good to be rid of it all. Even after giving away so much stuff and and putting stuff on the curb where every stick of it was taken by very happy junkers we still dont have room for whats left. We moved it all 200 miles only to start getting rid of more stuff. In a Victorian house we had so many walls. In this open concept ranch style house we just don’t have the wall space. 😢 so we are getting rid of yet more stuff. I don’t miss any of it!!!!!!!
You took the words right out of my mouth, if we only put things back where we got them right after we’re done using them . I would have loved having that ladder, too.
I loved this video! Most people don't get to see what crafters keep hidden away lol, all they see most times are finished products. Thanks for sharing your home with us! I hope you guys do keep both houses you have a lot of space here in Louisiana and people that love you. Blessings to you and your family on your new adventure! ❤️
Yes, i am overwhelmed for you! Creative people usually always have a mess or organized mess.. Ay least you don't have to clean this house out. Thanks for showing your mess. We all have a mess.mess and creative go together.
I absolutely love everything about this video! Your "outdoor kitchen" space is beautiful, but that garage 😍, omg! All that wood, and tools, and spindles....heaven!!! It would be hard to leave that place, but I also couldn't imagine being away from my husband for long periods of time either. Things work out how they are supposed to, and with your talent, I'm sure once you get settled it wont take long to build up your clientele in your new town. Wishing you and your family the best of luck!
We just moved 1 year ago after 28 years in the 2600sq ft home, a 3 1/2 car garage two storage sheds lots of stuff!!! Made lots of donations had a few yard sales and still had lots of stuff! We are older than you and we made it through, so you'll be just fine. Its alot but you'll be able to get it done! 😊🌞💐
I wish I had that much room to store my stuff!! My work space is out back on my deck. In the sun and rain. It sticks!! My husband would freak out if he knew exactly how much stuff I have. He already calls me a hoarder. He would flip out. I just can’t stand to trash something that I know I can redo! Be sure to find you a place to keep up your work at your new house. You would be very missed. Love watching you and love your channel. You tube better realize that you are loved❤!!
Julie you got this! I moved two years ago after cleaning out and selling three homes. It was overwhelming, but ya just gotta start and keep going. Took me a year! Good luck Girl!
WOW...I am soo...overwhelmed with what you have to do. Thanks for the tour. I am anxious to see what you do at the new house a blank canvas. Love your energy.
Yes, I am completely overwhelmed, I can’t believe you are leaving this huge space! I sure hope you have a good reason to leave. I am feeling very sad for you! I have a large craft/ work room but NOTHING like what YOU have! I can’t imagine the work of moving! I’m exhausted just thinking about it! But YOU SEEM UP, so I hope great new things are in store for you! I LOVE YOUR POSTS,DON’T STOP! I would greatly miss you!
I have learned the more space you have, the more stuff you get. It is a vicious cycle. I could never be a minimalist or tiny house person. My craft room is bigger than that entire house. Lol
Lol...I thought that I have a lot stuff and lots to get rid of, but now I feel more comfortable 😅🤣🤣keep going girl!!! That's how girls go, creating and crafting 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻💕
You are going to be lost without all that space! You must be going crazy trying to decide what to take and what to leave behind. I do wish you lots of luck and much happiness in your new home.
Just catching up on old videos, and i saw the wood trays and loved them! How cute to make towel racks like that as well to hang bathroom towels and make smaller ones for hand towels as well! Spindles and reclaimed wood
Once again, you amaze me! I am so thankful to see your hoard and your workspace, because it makes mine feel like it makes more sense than it did before....(I am always reprimanding myself for having a ton of unfinished projects and multiple piles of fence pickets, spindles, baskets, cabinet doors, etc, that i just haven't gotten to yet, lol.) I don't feel half so crazy now, (seeing yours), because i don't think YOU are crazy at all! You are creative, inspiring, courageous, energetic and bubbling over with enthusiasm and expectation, which i find to be contagious! BEST WISHES for a happy and bright future in your new adventure and home in Mississippi, Being older myself, i am hoping you will be all on one floor in the new workspace!! BEST of LUCK and GOD BLESS you and your family.
Girl give yourself a break its not that bad! Actually considering what you do its quite organized. And at the price of wood now you have a gold mine there. Good luck with the move and all your new adventures 👍💗
Love this video. I came in to take a break from cleaning my garage and watched. I don’t feel quite so bad about my mess. It actually looks some what like yours but on smaller scale but maybe I have a quarter of yours without the great tools It is separate from my craft room which houses quilting and all my julie-inspired crafts. I get down on myself about it sometimes because I’m not selling anything yet. I plan on doing some donating for fundraisers but I have a lot so waiting for God to direct me. But I keep in building and painting and so enjoying it. Thank you Julie
Wow! So glad to see someone's area as loaded with wood as mine!! You have way more room than i do, but we have the same problem! I work out of my garage, cellar and 2nd floor. Stuff everywhere!! Thanks for the laughs during this video!! I get anxiety about your move!! But know you are doing what is right for your family!! ♥️♥️♥️
Julie, one of your best videos ever! I have a barn that looks alot like this with all my "treasures" to work with. You make us all feel "normal". I live in Arkansas, so you are moving a bit closer to me. Maybe one day I can purchase some of your amazing creations. Maybe you could give some workshops in the Memphis area? Can't wait to see what you come up with in your new place.
Loved the tour Julie my word I thought how tidy it ALL was 😂xxx. New and exciting times ahead but nice to know your beautiful bayou home is still there for you xx. Enjoy your new adventure sweetheart xx♥️
You are so organized!!! And your work area looks like you’ve been working. My Dad put some type of vacuum suction in his work room for the saw dust. Check into that for your new space. Thank you for sharing. Creating no matter what medium seems to have the same issues. Can always use the smaller pieces. You are lucky to have a guy with similar interests. 👍😊❤️
Girl, you have a LOT to do!! If I had just a handful or enough to tote out of your house of those spindles, I would be in total heaven!!! BTW, I'm in Mississippi, so if you come about 90-100 miles south, you'll be in my country. We are bad to visit Memphis, so I might be in yours! Also, I have relatives in your new town, so I easily recognized it on your shopping tour the other week. Good luck with your move.
Rent one moving truck for your business stuff only. Then you can deduct it. Loved to see someone else who is consumed with saving and recreating. It is stressful (for us and our others!) but every new thing we create brings beauty and functionality into the world while saving the earth from more "trash."
Oh my golly! The word overwhelmed is a huge understatement! You should never have to buy raw wood or spindles ever again! I hope you figure out a way to take all of it to Mississippi with you.
I know that you have a t-shirt that says, "give me all the junk, now you need one that says, the junk just floats to me!" Lol! You crack me up!!😂🤣 Your house is just precious!!❤️
Build a she-shed in Mississippi for your work or buy a new or used already built shed. This would be great for you. I love your channel and so would people in your new area. Good luck.
Oh my word, You are the younger version of me! I keep asking myself, how can someone be so in love with scrapped, raw, stained, painted, and floating wood. I often feel like the Forest Gump of wood. Lol. You know you're going to need the big tools when you move, right? Take the big saw and have the hubbie build you the dream shop. I'm sure he will cave to that request, fairly quickly. After all, you need him to make that coffee table :)
Oh, and the outdoor kitchen is referred to as a Mother n Law Suite. We're fancy in Texas. Our outdoor kitchens usually contain a bbq grill, an ice chest, and a few lawn chairs Lol.
You soooo need a shirt that says "Ya'll--the junk just floats to me"!!!!!
While I watched this I was thinking, "I wish I lived near Julie if/when she has a sale"! Thanks for sharing your work spaces.
Girl you got 4 kids you are doing great DONT SWEAT THE SMALL STUFF 😉💕
Julie, You’ll be re-selling again as soon as you get situated. It’s in your blood with creativity. Your an artist !!!!! Just wish you shipped. No matter what you do your subscribers will follow and encourage you . 🌸. You are a sweetheart!
Seriously I wanna watch her pack I wanna watch her move I wanna watch her unpack I wanna watch her decorate I want to see everything! Love her!
Agree with all that! Especially shipping 😀
We might be related. :/ We have some very similar piles, all over the house and the barns! :| Yours might be more organized, though. My kids will want to kill me if I die before I go through our junk! 😬
I wonder as time goes on and the demand is there whether she will consider shipping. Hint, hint, Julie! lol!
Yes you have a lot, but I’m impressed with how nicely sorted everything is.
Yes, it is an organized mess, I do know where everything is
Omg child!! Can you imagine how much money you could make with all those projects completed?!! You are too funny - “now we are “those” people”. Your shop is AMAZING! As well as your view! What do your kiddos think about relocating? Best of luck in MS! I know you will become well known there as well!
I live in Mississippi about and hour and a half away
I’m going to get my husband to watch this video. He staggers at the amount of hoard I keep in my crafts. He needs to understand I’m not alone in my world of makeovers lol
Julie, I love the honesty of you in this video...All we normally see are these pristine videos where you're flipping, or even cutting or sanding, etc and could never have imagined that was where you filmed so much at...just proves to me that you are a human just like us and have a lot of the same issues. Girl. Guys would ENVY your workshop! I admire your talent and stuff! So glad I found your channel
Oh my gosh I couldn't leave that house!! You're on the water, so much space, so.....ugh...can't think....BUT I understand the need to move to closer to the husband's work; I had to do it. Please don't stop your resales! I believe your business will grow because of your personality and humbleness ❤
I feel so much better about my craft hoard. We moved from Washington to Arizona 1.5 years ago and it was hard. I can't imagine moving all that wood too. I love how neat and tidy your husband's space is. Organized is what I want to be when I grow up.
It would be very difficult to leave this lovely home and fabulous workshop! Your space is amazing.
🤣🤣🤣 “And now we’re those people!” You are so awesome! I LOVE seeing all of this! Thanks, Julie! I always look forward to your videos!
You are really very organized, your unfinished and future projects just weigh on you.
Yes, another reason I did not want a fixer upper. I can't help but just see a house full of unfinished projects
Hi Julie! I had a similar situation - last year we moved from CA to FL. Yes, I had a HUGE yard sale BUT first I had a "pre-sale" for my other vendor/reseller/flip friends. Your stuck with us! You can't stop, you love junking and flipping to much & I love watching.
Now that is quite the collection of treasures! So jealous of all your work space. Really love watching your videos, so thankful that you will continue to create for us!
Honestly I don’t think it looks bad at all! Very organized. With your boundless energy you’ll whip that in a short minute!
I hope you can keep this house- it is awesome for summer fun! Love the outside kitchen- maybe u can rent that part out for extra income? Best of luck with your move!

"Junk just floats to me" 😆 Classic Julie!!
Love your home. Don't think I could leave it. Wish y'all the very best. Love your channel you are so fun.
In this open concept ranch style house we just don’t have the wall space. 😢 so we are getting rid of yet more stuff. I don’t miss any of it!!!!!!!
Your energy is contagious! Love u Julie! I got back to working out because of you! 🔨🚵🏼♀️🏋🏼♂️🧢 💋
You took the words right out of my mouth, if we only put things back where we got them right after we’re done using them . I would have loved having that ladder, too.
Julie, May The Good Lord Above Bless You & Your Family & May All Y'alls Dreams & Prayers Come True 💗
You have an artists home! Typical and it's actually neater than some places! Thank you for sharing!
I absolutely love everything about this video! Your "outdoor kitchen" space is beautiful, but that garage 😍, omg! All that wood, and tools, and spindles....heaven!!! Love your spirit Julie, I hope you will continue to be creative and sell your wares wherever you live!
You are the cutest person ever! Love your creativity, and your woodworking skills! Wowza!
I am so glad it’s not me moving. I honestly love your work room it’s fantastic. 🥰
Julie you got this! I moved two years ago after cleaning out and selling three homes. It was overwhelming, but ya just gotta start and keep going. Took me a year! Good luck Girl!
I am glad that I am not the only one who hordes!
WOW...I am soo...overwhelmed with what you have to do. Thanks for the tour. I am anxious
to see what you do at the new house a blank canvas.
I LOVE how these are all YOUR TOOLS :-) Impressive workshop!
So funny “junk just floats to me.” 😄😄
I am definitely sharing this with my husband! You are not alone! I envy your wood piles! Love ya!
You are going to be lost without all that space! You must be going crazy trying to decide what to take and what to leave behind. I do wish you lots of luck and much happiness in your new home.
Hi Julie! Love your ideas. FYI Joanns has the Folkart Wax 8 oz. for $7.99 and Michael's for $9.99 and those aren't sale prices.
Ohhhh, i forgot. Definitely make over your mantle in new house! You would nske it fantastically wonderful.
I can not imagine moving all your “stuff”. I am overwhelmed just thinking about it! 😫🤪😩
Your place looks really organized to me. I love all the stuff you have and the huge storage areas you have at that house.
Just catching up on old videos, and i saw the wood trays and loved them! How cute to make towel racks like that as well to hang bathroom towels and make smaller ones for hand towels as well! Spindles and reclaimed wood

You will miss your awesome shop! I’m so envious!
You are amazing and I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have all this space to create 💜. You got this girl!! You will make new memories at your new home!!
Lord have mercy at the stuff, good luck on the move.
Julie , be your fun self wherever life takes you. Love the junk too.
Great to see your space.
I wish you every happiness in your new home and I am looking forward to your future videos.
Oh girl!!! I don't envy you, but I know how hard a worker you are and I have confidence you'll be able to do whatever you put your mind to.
Hey Julie You crack me up! It’s nice to see how a creative genius works!!!
Thanks for sharing. Kellyanne
You are a trip Julie! Don’t ever change, we love you just the way you are!
Girl give yourself a break its not that bad! Actually considering what you do its quite organized. And at the price of wood now you have a gold mine there. Good luck with the move and all your new adventures 👍💗
Yes overwhelmed!!!! I say if you can keep your house in Louisiana do it use it as an air B&B. People would love to vacation there.
My husband doesn’t understand how it is to craft. My room is always a work in progress to keep organized and tidy. I love seeing everything.
Love this video. I came in to take a break from cleaning my garage and watched. I don’t feel quite so bad about my mess. Get a portable building they have some nice ones for ur new place . I already know ur going to need the space . ❤️❤️❤️
I love your energy you are a sweet person and a very good teacher Thank you.
The junk just floats to me lol 😂 I love it!!
You have my dream craft , work area. !!!! Love it. And you have so a beautiful view .
I'm in Arizona and we call it a mother-in-law Cottage. It has a little kitchen living room bedroom and bathroom.
It's very organized. I hope you can move it all and keep going with what you are doing here on RUclips!!
So overwhelmed, but I'm sure you're up to the task!💕
Julie, one of your best videos ever! I have a barn that looks alot like this with all my "treasures" to work with. You make us all feel "normal". I live in Arkansas, so you are moving a bit closer to me. Maybe one day I can purchase some of your amazing creations. Maybe you could give some workshops in the Memphis area? Can't wait to see what you come up with in your new place.
Sounds like as soon as your basic house set up is done you will have to build your own workshop!
Driftwood would be so cute over a large back door
Girl, you have a LOT to do!! If I had just a handful or enough to tote out of your house of those spindles, I would be in total heaven!!! BTW, I'm in Mississippi, so if you come about 90-100 miles south, you'll be in my country. We are bad to visit Memphis, so I might be in yours! Also, I have relatives in your new town, so I easily recognized it on your shopping tour the other week. Good luck with your move.
My god girl why would you want to leave this paradise
Rent one moving truck for your business stuff only. Then you can deduct it. Loved to see someone else who is consumed with saving and recreating. It is stressful (for us and our others!) but every new thing we create brings beauty and functionality into the world while saving the earth from more "trash."
Oh my golly! The word overwhelmed is a huge understatement! You should never have to buy raw wood or spindles ever again! I hope you figure out a way to take all of it to Mississippi with you.
This was exciting!!!! Loved your junk! You have treasures
Loved seeing your workspaces and hoard! Thanks for sharing with us!
So so glad i am not the only one that has something in every available space. Love it!!!
I know that you have a t-shirt that says, "give me all the junk, now you need one that says, the junk just floats to me!" Lol! You crack me up!!😂🤣
Your house is just precious!!❤️
Julie, thank you for sharing! Now I don't feel so bad for my huge mess. I use two car garage full of my crafting!
Enjoyed this so much! I love to see other people's hoard!
Hoping to build a shop but that's a future project
Good to see how you are able to do all you do. Proud of you for all of your talents. 😍😎
