    I use to volunteer as a firefighter for years and this is one thing that needs to happen more. I’ve seen so many wrecks from phones being involved and even had to pick a head up out of a ditch bc they rear ended a trailer and ended up taking their head off.. people put the phones down if you value your life

    I got caught in a speed trap many years ago. I was doing about 90 and passed a cop car sitting on the side of the road. Thinking I had just dodged a bullet, I continued on my way when I came over a hill and there were cops everywhere. The original cop was recording how fast we were going and radioed ahead to tell the others what make, model, and color the cars were.

You're creating dangerous road conditions & punishing drivers for "phone use" but it's not about phone use and it's deceptive that he's dressed as a bum but sign says he's a cop as if people are supposed to read it while driving and not assume based off what he looks like that he's a bum otherwise they'd just have a uniformed officer standing there but they don't they have a cop cartoon hour dressed up to deceive & trick people into breaking law. I will backtrack and say I don't know if it's illegal in this place but definitely gray area and something that absolutely would be thrown out.

    I just took my defensive driving course and they talked about this. Tbh I think it was a good idea. Over the course of 5 hours I saw countless anecdotes of kids dying or becoming severely disabled from people who text and drive
